Firefighters to be trained in anti-terrorism?

I came across this article on the website "American Police Beat."

According to it, DHS wants to train firefighters to search for terrorist activity within people's homes because firefighters and fire inspectors don't need search warrants. Although the article doesn't mention it, doesn't this mean that firefighters would carry guns just in case they do find such activity? What's next? Training people in a neighborhood watch program? There's something seriously wrong with this picture.

Oh great, so who's next? Training cable workers to do the same? Social workers? In home medical care professionals? Plumbers? Electricians?

And worse, what's the criteria for "signs of terrorist activity"? With the new executive orders allowing a President to arbitrarily designate anyone they want to as an "enemy combatant" it won't be long before anyone with a copy of the US Constitution on their wall, or in their possession, is designated as a terrorist.
