AEK-971 full auto grouping video, it’s UNREAL.

AEK-971 has already been discussed on ATS plenty of times, but after I saw the full auto grouping clip I just had to put it up.

Out of every 4 shots the mechanism eliminates the recoil impulse of three shots, leaving the recoil of only 1 shot.



And that’s over 20 years ago.

As to Abakan, it’s not a viable military weapon in my opinion. To complex, expensive and to labor intensive produce, has a steel wire which is prone to stretching after heated by excessive firing of the weapon.

The An-94 was not accepted in light of its complexity and cost, instead favoring balanced AK74M versions (100 series).

Dang that tight grouping on full auto. I can only imagine engaging moving targets, just hold the trigger back and lead.

I remember that HK G11 won the US Army trials, and especially excelled in full auto controllability.

Even women could easily control and engage moving targets with no problems what so ever, so I can only wonder how G11 compares to AEK!
