That is just one of those cases where we can see the difference between Internet Explorer and, in this case, Firefox.
Apparently, ATS' pages are created for Internet Explorer, I don't know if that is because of a decision to target the most used browser or because
of not knowing (some?) of the differences between browsers.
Internet Explorer (at least version 7 on Windows Vista, the one I use) uses the "alt" tag to show alternate text for an image if it does not have a
"title" tag, Firefox and Opera only use the "title" tag, so they ignore the "alt" tag and do not show the text near the cursor.
The only way I know of changing this is by changing the code of the page to use what all (?) browsers interpret in the same way, the "title". If
they do that then Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera would show the small help text over the buttons.
But you can use the link as a help, if you look to the bar at the bottom of the page you will see that the link does have information about it
(something like "_javascript:italicize"), but that is only because those buttons act as links.
