Looks like even staunch supporters are now thinking twice:

O'Reilly is a liberal populist that never fully supported the Bush administration though many thought he did. His opinions are effected like a leaf in the wind.

He has been spooked by Al Franken too many times!

What bothers me about this article and "if" O'Reilly said this also, was the continued use of "immenent threat". Number of deeply thrashed threads here at ATS on this issue.
I still voice that "immenent threat" was not the reasons for which this administration gave (ie: support of terrorism, failure to disclose WMD information per numerous UN resolutions, thus causing past and/or old intelligence to remain as 'active' or still 'good', etc.), though many will interpret it otherwise....I will respect that and nuff' said on it.

Another problem with O'Reilly, is that he is a self-righteous pompous ass who thinks his # don't stink (probably why his book flopped), but hey, he is entitled to his opinions and beliefs, as we all are.

Isn't O'Reilly supposed to kiss someone's ass now?

Yeah I don't like cowards and turncoats either.

But, what he said at the start of the war is that if "He is wrong he would never trust the Bush Administration again." Granted, it is a step in the right direction, but he is still tip toeing.

Seekerof,

You make a good point but I should tell you that my dad I used to support Bush until he lied about the WMD's in Iraq. Now neither of us like Bush. What he continues to do is very skeptical IMO.

Hey NEO. I'm not voting for anybody. I don't who to trust. I was planning to vote for Dennis Kucinich but that won't make a bit of difference anyways.

mrmulder:

"....What he continues to do is very skeptical IMO."

What you and your father are doing is excercising your God given rights as freedom loving humans and American citizen's. Hell, even if your not American, it doesn't matter....we all have the ability to do this.

I respect that and always will. I may debate or argue otherwise, but I do believe, on many occasions, I have stated that I will respect anothers thoughts, opinions, or beliefs, despite my own being to the contrary.
In such, I respect your opinion, as I do others, and your fathers. Just be sure to vote.

Look man you know me I don't BS anybody.

This is how it is:

nature of politics - you cannot fully trust anyone.

nature of people - better to trust the crook you know than the one you don't

nature of life - try to accomplish something before they get your ass.

Oh Yeah. I forgot to comment on this. That's interesting. I thought he did support the Bush Administration in the beginning. Oh, well. The point is someone in the government deliberatly had misinformation on WMD's in Iraq and Bush was ultimately responsilbe for presenting this information to the public. Someone should take the blame. Unfortunately, since the government is doing the "Chess Game" I don't see anybody taking the blame anytime soon.

He did mrmulder, outspokenly, at that. But heed the words I used....."..that never fully supported..."....main focus on fully.

He always, in a manner of media broadcasting, always left one foot out the door in case he had to bail or hustle to a new stance, as he is doing now.

I have a strong dislike for Mr. O'Reilly, he claims it the "No Spin Zone" but he is the king of Spin, and he will spin it whichever way necessary in order to make sure he remains looking good.

He postured himself to be a full blown Bush supporter in case he won, and a dissatsifed conservative should Bush screw up. Shell game tactics.

I like he's non-commital. That kind of makes him more fair than others. But he fakes commitment.

In politics that's called flip flop. He's a waffle iron, pure and simple. Nobody likes that.

I gave O'Reilly my "benefit of doubt" for years. I'm done. He's painful to watch now.

(Though I might watch tonight...to see him step back from those comments on ABC... he flops depending on the format alot. He'll contradict himself between the same day's radio show and Fox that night!)

Well to be honest I really don't watch O'Reilly that much anymore. I don't watch news on the TV pretty much at all. I read the news on the internet now.

The Hot n' Cold thermal mugs are suitable for any political season, allowing the most vitriolic of pundits to warm themselves to a cup of Bush bandwagon, or take a step back with the Kerry cooler.

Available for the low price of $19.95 on his website, O'Reilly offers "the best mugs in the business" truly taking a stand on "who's looking out for you" and his career alike on a day by day basis, while offering a suitable beverage for consumption with WAFFLES!
