ufos? and hello

Last night around midnite PST I was driving home from my friends place. I was getting pretty close to my place when I looked up and saw two lights hovering 100ft or so in the air not moving at all. it looked like it was over the freeway which I was parallel to. The lights were close together one red and one white the lights weren't blinking either and it appeared that they were on the bottom. so I watched this object for about 10 seconds. I rolled down my window and tried to listen to it, but the freeway was too loud. I turned right to get home and then i noticed this thing moving slowly to the southeast and i stopped watching it cause I was facing the other way.

Another experience I had was in august or so cant really remember exactly when but it was before I left for school in the summer. My friend and I were driving to my house, I was getting a ride home. We got to the exit here on Leucadia Blvd (if anyone from Encinitas on here) and we saw a very similar thing to my first sighting posted and again it was just hovering over the freeway. our fist thought was What the "hell" is that! we were approaching the object for close to a minute watching it, the sunroof was open and we drove directly beneath it! it was definatley two lights as stated before red and white. when we got past it we kept watching it and it eventually speed off into the distance towards the coast.

Personally I was a huge military buff when i was in H.S. my dad flew in heli's for the navy and my Brother is currently flying the CH-47 chinook. so I've learned a thing or two about planes/choppers from them. I can pretty much name a plane or heli when I see one, I've seen a lot in my days. I saw something I definatley could not explain or recognize. I saw a UFO in the literal meaning but im not sure if it was aliens or not, I got no proof. when I got home last night I created this account and was going to post but i got tired and too lazy to type this until now.

aside from the experiences i shared I'd like to say hello to everyone and I am looking forward to any discussion with the members

that does sound very convincing, have you looked into it? look around to see if anyone else has seen the same thing. then do some online research. maybe it can be explained easily.

i didnt find much on the research. i just got a new digital camera so im gonna start bringing that around...

yea thats a good idea try 2always have a camera with u no matter wat...cuz if you dnt have a camera nd it so happens that you get to see somethin amazing your going to be realy mad at yourself......

I believe you saw something, but judging by your location (Encinitas) I'd be willing to bet you saw something terrestrial and most likely USMC property. Camp Pendleton is only about 15 miles north of you, right?

As far as exactly what it was that you saw, well I'd bet it was your tax dollars at work.

Well, how good is your camera? if you don't have a good camera your just another guy with "blurred" pictures of an "alien spacecraft". High mega pixel, maybe an attachment lens for zoom, catches motion, maybe takes video. then you would be the perfect alien photographer!!!

ive got a nikon coolpix and its 7.1 megapixels just realized that but ive messed around with it and it gets good quality

im not doubting the possibility of a marine or navy bird and Pendelton is close we can hear/feel the big explosions up there. It was a strange sight and it was unlike most things ive seen.
