Week 8 question!

One day a folder fell through the sun roof of your car. This folder contains information that could blackmail all of congress, the president of the united states, and many other top officials in goverenment agencies; would you blackmail them for money, power, ect., or turn the files over to the proper authorities which would cause all the people you have information about to get life in jail? Why did you choose the way you did? (If you do not have a car then you do for this question. If your car does not have a sun roof then it does for this question.)

First of all... i'd let them do the bribing... i'd let them tell me what they'd give me. After this I may raise some of the offers then hand over the files and be done with it. No way in hell will I give up the chance to blackmail these people that keep so many things from me.

I'd also get them to tell me all of those "military secrets" that they keep from us... hell, if that was all that I got... just the info but no money or power... I wouldn't mind... but they wouldn't kow that...

I would turn the files over so all their asses sit in jail for the rest of their life. It would be nice to have money, power, and know all the secrets but knowing Bush is someones prison bitch would be better. I would jump up in joy to put a bunch of corrupt politicians in jail.

What do I have to do to get more people to answer my weekly questions?

The ethical thing to do is this:

1. Determine some short term goal that you have, something you would like to bring forward, and how many "fast bucks" it would take to achieve that.

2. Copy all the documents x6 and put the copies in two safe places away from your home or office.

3. Arrange to meet a journalist from an established reputable outlet, and provide him or her with a sample of the documents. State that you have the number and type of documents that you do.

4. Provide the journalist with a specific means of contact that will not be connected to you or your home. Give them 24 hours to give you a price.

5. Accept the price, take the money, hand over the original documents.

6. Do what you had in mind for Step 1.

7. If the # has not hit the fan in a week and there has been no major published leaks, repeat starting at step 3 with your copies.

It was the preferred solution to your moral dilemma over blackmail or turning the papers over to authorities, assuming you had a reasonable short term financial goal.

If you can't apply my philosophy next time highly sensitive Congress papers float through your sunroof, then simply leave the practical steps I have outlined for those who can.

Sorry, it was 4 am. I was not thinking straight. Now i see.

I would keep copies of the information and turn the originals over to the proper authorities. Of course I'd post the copies for all of you to read.

Wealth and power are of no importance to me. Truth.

What if you dont have a car?!

I would blackmail them for a lot of money. But I would have copies and post them on this site. (Thats after I took the money, of course.)

First I'd do it for information....

Let me see the wreckage....let me see the bodies...who really did kill JFK? etc. etc....

And THEN, I'd see what they'd offer me, hehe....

i would burn the folder and forget that I ever saw it..

Someway somehow, they would get me and kill me, I just know it.
