ISRAEL says it has seized a truck carrying chemicals used to make explosives hidden in bags marked as EU aid for the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.

This is a damn interesting development and I think may open all sort of worms out of the can.

Does this show that the EU is actively sponsoring terrorism through these covert chemical shipments to Hamas?

If so, could Israel technically declare EU as an active sponsor of terrorism? Maybe Im stretching the possibilities abit with that one, its more likely someone has infiltrated the supply route from EU aid storage and added their own "goods" bound for Hamas.

Either way, it will be interested to see what developes from this incident.

The army said 6.5 tonnes of potassium nitrate were in bags marked as sugar from the European Union for Palestinians in the coastal enclave.

I can't wait to hear how this happened. The IDF announced today that packages of 'sugar' provided by the EU for the 'Palestinians' in Judea and Samaria contained potassium nitrate. Potassium nitrate is used in making explosives and is a 'banned substance' in Judea, Samaria and Gaza.

"Potassium Nitrate is a banned substance in the Gaza Strip and the Judea and Samaria region due to its use by terrorists for the manufacturing of explosives and Kassam rockets," the IDF spokesperson wrote in a statement.

Was the EU in on this? Or did the 'Palestinians' somehow do it themselves?

That last line hits the nail on the head and will be the subject of many a heated discussion.
