Anyone see on the news?

i cant seem to find the article today, but on CNN it says this space center in california has been granted hundreds of millions of dollars by Microsofts co founder Paul Allen to build enough machines to check space for incoming radio waves 24/7. i think it would be amazing if we can actually find some radio systems from a planet millions of light years away..

I heard something on Fox today about scientists vamping up efforts in search of life elsewhere. I didn't really get the specifics though.
