Thanks jfj123 (so formal can I call you "J")
This has had me interested for a while, I was hoping the mechanism was a meteorite impact wobbling the crust relative to the core, that sort of
thing.
Tie it in with a known crater or perhaps get some math genius to work out the angle difference of the earth to allow the direction change, hmm that
doesnt sound clear, imagine a giant billiards game might be easier!
As for the images they have to be hosted on another site first, I use photobucket, free
(Well I was born in Scotland and some sterotypes ring true!)
then once uploaded there they provide a line of code for direct linking
which is provided under the pic looks like this (I put spaces in the htt part so you could see the code)
h-t-t-p://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj20/rustandplastic/5c27d7a3-e398-4251-b3da-a12e7a22d6d.jpg
press the button above the posting text box (insert image) and paste the code in, bobs your uncle!
so it should appear in your post as an image not a link
heres me having fun!
