Eventhough it was just a prank, the peoples reactions were genuine. Its nice to see someone willing to make first contact hand in hand rather than pointing guns or throwing stones.

Hope to see a real encounter at least in my lifetime

Like the guy who took a picture right away! I cant really imagine what i would have done in that situation. Perhaps take a few pictures and gather some material. One thing is for sure it would NOT run away.

There's a similar, but much better, video from an old British hidden camera

show where this alien lands in a womans garden.

It i such a British reaction, with the woman offering the alien a cup of tea.

Shame, I can't find it now. Will stick it up if I come across it.

that british one had the alien looking so fake. It was on a comedy show, the woman was so gullible which is why the prank was played on her. The audience found it funny because it looked so fake yet she took it seriously.
I'd love to watch it again for laughs.

That's really cute, but I would like to see videotaped reactions during real up close encounters. You know, where people see more than a silver domed B-Movie UFO and witness the crafts emitting ultra-high frequency sounds and zipping around at Mach3, changing directions on a dime.

The British one was from a show called Beadle's About, hosted by Jeremy Beadle, I remember when it was fisrt aired, and have never forgotton the tears of laughter running down my cheeks.
Just looked on youtube for it, I know it was there because I looked it up a while ago, but it looks like it may have been taken off.
Been to other video clip sites and they say no longer available.
Maybe someone else might have more luck in finding it as this is a classic.
Wonder if the woman has had it removed by law?, lets face it all those years ago she would have found peace that people had forgotten, and no more riducule, then youtube came along, and well her nightmares start again.
Because a new generation can now see this gullible lady, and laugh at her in the streets, and maybe think all people were this easy lead in those days.
She even sang to the obvious fake alien coming out of the ship.
If you Americans see it, please, please do not think all us British are like that, just the majority off us, oh sorry I mean minority.

This is pretty epic. I actually laughed when the lady screamed but stood completely still. Imagine this being a real event and you're the alien. You open your hatch and the first thing you're greeted with is a big scream in the face. How awesome is that?
