Advances in technology a gift of aliens, Silicon Valley pioneer believes

Joe Firmage -- the Fox Mulder of Silicon Valley -- resigned yesterday from the firm he founded so he could promote his belief that many of today's high-tech advancements, including semiconductors, fiber optics and lasers, came from aliens.

Firmage is the 28-year-old founder of USWeb, a high-profile Internet consulting firm that merged recently with the Net marketing firm CKS to form a 1,950-person public company worth $2.1 billion. Clients of Santa Clara-based USWeb/CKS include Apple Computer, Levi Strauss and Harley-Davidson.

In November, shortly before the merger, Firmage was pressured to step down as CEO of USWeb and take the lesser title of chief strategist because of his campaign to prove the existence of UFOs.

these discoveries. What is his problem.

Why would aliens work with Tesla? Where is the proof?

Certainly we don't need aliens to invent semi-conductors and fiber optics.. But not everything can be explained by elite US or Russian technology.

Isn't this pretty much exactly Corso's story?

Don't know if that makes it more or less credible, but I've never been too hot on the idea that we're using alien technology. The foundations for these discoveries were all there, seems a little convenient we found the crashed saucer after we had all the pieces of the puzzle and we just needed to put them together.

Sarcasm... real aliens in those days were German spies in Tesla's lab.

It all depends what conspiracy you hold to... Outer Space aliens or
Inner Space aliens (spies from another country or of this country but
up to no good as an international conspirator making money off this
countries' distress).

The outer space alien just happens to be part of the inner space conspiracy.

Yes. I agree inner space aliens want to make money. Not everything can be explained by outer space aliens nor does alot of it make sense. But to think secret societies/mankind are at the root of all these phenomena doesn't make sense either.
