I recently had a problem with my fuel pump. (It's a mustang so it's a bit different). But you have two switches that control your fuel pump. A
relay switch and an inertia switch. The inertia switch is usually inside the trunk lining or under the driver's seat. It is designed to engage when
you are in an accident so no fuel continues to run through a damaged vehicle.
There is a button on top of it that should reset it if it was accidentally set off. In my case I had a bad inertia switch and couldn't wait the week
to get a new one ordered from the dealership. So, I cut the wire going in and the one coming out and spliced them together. Thus, by passing the
faulty switch, and everything has worked fine ever since.
You can test your switch, once you've found it, by checking the voltage of the wire going in against the one going out. If you have juice entering,
but none leaving then you know the problem is in that switch.
Good luck!
