There's no evidence of underground facilities in the area. There's only a gravel logging road. No major electrical lines, no sewer/water lines, no
structures for ventilation or emergency evacuation, no local heliports or airports, no railroad to bring in huge earth-boring machinery and
generators, no evidence of heating/cooling/electrical production facilities.
King's Peak is a nice area to visit. You can hike to the top and down in a day. Try to avoid visiting in late spring when the mosquitos are
swarming. Don't expect to see any underground facilities or USAF flying saucers.
