So the Mega Millions lottery was $115 million a few nights ago.

My dad plays it sometimes. When he does, he usually plays certain numbers every time. Those numbers are birthdays of our family.

He said that he had heard from people that the Mega Ball comes up as 46 a lot for some reason. I don't know why, so don't ask me. But for that reason, he started using 46 as the Mega Ball. That, along with five birthday numbers.

There was a drawing on the 11th of December.

He didn't use the birthdays this time, trying to change it up and hopefully hitting.

Well....the numbers were....

6
25
27
30
45
Mega Ball: 46

My brother's birthday is on a 6th.
My sister's birthday is on a 25th.
My birthday is on a 27th.
My mom's birthday is on a 30th.
And of course, he uses 46 as the Mega Ball.

So there you have it. Potentially $115 million.

Considering it's unlikely he'd choose 45 and would have chosen 18 (other sister's birthday), then the likelihood of it being $115 million is slim.

But still. Four numbers + the Mega Ball is $200,000.

$200,000!!!

The one night he changes it up, the numbers hit. Gotta love that.

Just thought I'd share that wonderful Christmas time lottery story with all of you.

That's sick man! Once I hit every single # one off. I also dreamed once that I won the lottery, and also woke up just forgetting the numbers. It makes one think that in an alternate universe, some where, an alternate won.

Albuquerque Slim once told me that if you are a system player, be a system player, have confidence in your system, play it religiously, and lose like the rest of us yahoos that don't have a clue what to do when we place a bet.

Wise words....

I always play *23* for a Power ball because of a thread I read here on ATS.

I have never got used to losing at any type of gaming. Believe me I know how you feel.

Remember though....If you don't set at the table; you can't play the game.

Good luck in the future.
