The maximum size is 100K.

Try resizing the image or cutting on the sides.

I had put the picture up on my site just to get it as my avatar, and when it wouldn't work i took it off, but if you like i can put it back up. The URL was www.selfglory.com/mod.jpeg, but like I said i took it off when it didn't work. It was 22kb and like 130x106 or somthing. it wasn't that big a picture.

You have to upload it to ATS first.

Save the file onto your hardrive, go to member center browse and upload it. You will be given an address, paste that onto your avatar url in control panel.

Any questions?

Not necessarily. He said he had it hosted on his site, if this is so, you don't need to upload it to ats. Just use the url to the image on your host and put in the avatar text box. But im not sure why the image wont work.

Are you sure? I think there is some function that makes it neccesary to upload in ATS to put in the avator, but I'm not sure.

Hey Guys,
Thanks alot for the info, I got the avatar loaded finally I think, and it was way too big it turns out, which just goes to show my lack of computer intelligence. But anyways thanks alot for the help, and if your wondering the picture is of me. I took it in the passenger side mirror of our five ton during a recent mission out here. About 3 weeks ago I think. Well, thanks agian for the help guys. I appreciate it.
