Zecharia Sitchin, Annunaki, Mayan Prophecy ... Never happends in 2012

I see so many conspiracies linking Zecharia Sitchins annunaki/sumerian translations with 2012, and somehow the Mayan Prophecy is being linked to this aswell....

Here is the facts:

1. Only 1 place on Zecharia Sitchins official website, does he mention the year 2012, and that is in context with the mayan Prophecy, not in context with the return of "Planet x", infact his own prediction for the return of "Planet X" is 2085.

In 1990 I met with Zecharia Sitchin when we appeared on a television talk show, in Long Island, hosted by Bill Knell. I found Mr. Sitchen to be one of the most informed people I had every met. The next time we met was in 1993 at NYU where we lectured together on ancient astronauts and related information.

Sitchin has recently put forth his own date for the next passage of Nibiru in the year 2085, but the date most talked about is 2012 which marks the end of the Maya calendar

However, a brown dwarf with a period of 3,760 years would be clearly evident through infrared and gravitational observations.In a recently published book, titled 2012: Appointment With Marduk, Turkish writer/researcher Burak Eldem presents a new theory, suggesting a 3,661 years orbital period for the planet and claiming a "return date" in the year 2012 AD.

So this is where people start to link Zecharia Sitchins with 2012, although it does not come from "The father" of the whole annunaki story himself...But from a brown dwarf and the Mayan calender...There is but a problem in linking the mayan calender with 2012 aswell...

2. The Mayan Calender does not end 21.december 2012, it ends on oct. 28th 2011!...yes, the Mayan Calendar is leading up to the Mayan year “Cero”, or 2012, but it ends oct. 28th 2011...

So the Head of the National Mayan Council says it leads up to the year 2012...hmmm well where did oct. 28th 2011 come from then?...

You will also see that this date is backed up by Carl Johan Calleman Ph.D., an author of two books on the subject.

And I don't know with you, but i like my source of information to be valid, and "The Head of the National Mayan Council" + a ph.D professor, I find more valid then any homemade theory about the subject?

So from my point of view, there is not a link between theese two happenings.

2012 is one those things where someone says the Mayans predicted something... so then who ever hears that assumes it to be true. Just like any other religion I suppose. I have a feeling the time period the Mayans are referring to have more to do with precession than anything else.

The mayans where very much into precession, and I agree that it is easy to get things mixed together in theory, especially with the allmighty internet today, people writing tons of pages with all kinds of dates and data, so it is hard to find the "truth" indeed.

I know this is ancient history but I don't know where else to put this thought concerning Zacharia Sitchin.
I was urged to read the 12th Planet by my dad, a little eccentric living in The Villages a retirement community here in FL. There is a group there of older folks all convinced of the accuracy of his theories I guess we can call them. I find it interesting his books are not in the fiction section since it is such a different idea of creation than almost any we had already considered.
No wonder people have a hard time making the leap.
Anyway I was reading the Bible with a renewed interest and found it certainly did bear out his understanding of things to a great extent. Myself, I related to visions of humans linked in chains as in a mining operation. So many references to "coming out of the pit" resonated from nightmares in my youth. "Blind (like an underground mole creature) and now I see". As a child I knew a yoke was for an ox or a beast and yet in the Bible they mentioned taking the yoke off your own neck. What sort of times were these? I remember thinking.
Then ZS comes along and paints a picture.
The word gold is used in the bible more than the word love. Thousands of references to jewels rare gems mining and metallurgy. The large mines in Ophir. Some one is banished to Sheol or hell for eternity and me I think they are still in the deep underground in those mines.
Researching the use of the word incense I found it seemed to be used to combat the particularly bad smell of humans around those who were OTHER THAN human.
So there were others here besides us, either over us or that made us and they had a father EL. The Father figures prominently in my religion another thing I wondered about. In fairness though it should be father and mother but then this significance of "the father" as the one supreme even over the brothers Enki and Enlil and the seldom mentioned sister I forget her name. Her name changes depending on what paper or legend fable you read but she was a doctor of genetics... the father and her role all fit neatly into with ZS story translated off some tablets. Tablets?

Anyway what I am getting around to is GOLD. The sole purpose of the mission here on earth reportedly from these records(?)
I always look at those BUYGOLD commercials and ads and say ...these gold diggers never changed. All the gold in the earth and stripped from the churches and the currency was not enough... now they are even after nana's rings!

I think if it has come to this petty scraping for scraps "they" lets call them the gold diggers, must be about finished harvesting every drop of gold in the planet and are ready to leave us. I think those cigar shaped spaceships people see are filled with gold being shipped off planet a mining operation that has gone on for millenia. I imagined there were people in a partially hollow earth all along and now I guess this is what they were doing.
Goldman Saks is responsible for a huge money scam. What kind of a name is Goldman Saks. Sacks of Gold?
Perhaps way back in the days ZS describes for us there were humans placed in charge of the mining operations and called Goldman and Silverman.

I think people either gravitated or were designed to fill roles. I think we some of us wrestled ourselves away from these paths and old purpose filling distinctions and others just changed the way they operate. Many to this day have not changed in mission and purpose. The word Cain means tip of the Spear and Cain was a warrior. He was the brother Enki. No sense of humor at all. A soldier through and through. I pay attention to people with Cain in their name and maybe because I am looking for it find they are still warrior types, whereas those with the word -Able in their names are more like Hobbits at the mercy of the Warrior types.

If you have read this far you think I probably need medications. Maybe I do but this is a stream of thought and I can't help myself anymore than Cain could help but kill Able.
No more than Bobby Goldstein - can stop himself from peddling a reality show featuring Elin Woods and Sandra Bullocks "other women" mistress chicks.

Bobby Goldstein is a natural born heir to the legacy of gold diggers mentioned in ZS books.
I'd be willing to bet Bobby considers himself a rightful heir today.

No disrespect intended. Only heartless, unfair profiling of NAMES using my personal observation and deduction. A woman named "Stonecipher" catalogs Smithsonian artifacts, guy named Wagoneer was head of GMC etc... But then mine is a small world and maybe your experiences have been different.
Of course their are exceptions within any group and that is why blanket accusations directed toward any whole population, (if this is what I am leveling).... are wrong.

But I have to wonder...at their earliest source or root...who are these Gold and Silver people? Are they really "chosen" by God or are they humans carefully genetically altered, deliberately designed NOT to work the pits, (as others were designed TO work the pits) but to meticulously stock pile, account for and render this harvested gold unto "God" - their maker or leader(?)

Are they in fact chosen because they alone could be trusted with this task?

What the heck happened in those times anyway and to what corners of the earth and perhaps beyond did everybody go?

on the halfway serious side... I enjoyed the 12th planet but when I read the negatives on how he compiled his books more towards money than truth and made the facts bend his own way, I sorta declined in liking him. still a very interesting series of books he has.

i really think 2011 is the date meant for all of these prophecies.

Since I was born I have had a gut feeling, knowing what ever is supposed to happen next is going to happen in my lifetime. I have been ready since about age 6. Before I learned how to read, before ZS rotted my brain. (according to Xagathorn anyway) lol

the reason I believe that Nibiru will show in the southern hemisphere around 2012 or maybe even sooner (like 2011?) is not because of zecharia sitchin.

I too have always felt as though whatever it is...I am going to be involved

honestly, I know that all of your mothers told you at some point that you are special... and rest assured that you are... but I have always had an overwhelming feeling that I was "special"

I cannot even be sure that I don't create this sense

but as we near what can only be categorized as an apparent change, I think it has something to do with positive and negative

or maybe more true to the point...the interaction between positive and negative, and what/how we interact with it/them

The End is as close as I can come to the feeling myself and yet somehow I am not afraid. I am excited. Feels like I am already geared up, prepared for it and here to win. I am only waiting for my orders....??? Sort of like that.

ZS extrapolates upon the translations and perhaps takes some artistic license in the telling to sell his books sure, but he was not the first to decipher these texts and arrive at by any translation, an amazing story.

I feel the same way. I feel as though my life is on hold. I can't seem to get a job in my field and things are just at a stand still. I think something wants me here where I live. Most jobs are in California in my field of work. Just feel as though something is going to happen.

The Mayan calendar has many claims about how it synchronizes with our calendar. The best work to date was done by a graduate student in the Netherlands that used the predictions of Venus that are in the calendar to synchronize the Mayan work with the Gregorian calendar we use. I've posted this in this forum somewhere, but search is not finding it. I'll post the date when I find the link.

What we do know about the Mayan is that they have no predictions associated with the wrap around of the long count calendar regardless of when it happens.

Oct 2011 is just as much of a guess as 2012, the real fact is that we'll never truly know what this date was supposed to mean.
