star over bethleham

what was it ?? where did it come from?? It is written that the star was low in the sky, emitting light from heaven,,, narrow beam... some suggest like todays lasers?? Only the wise men saw it King Herod and his men did not... and it brought the wise men from the east to the west... truly a supernatural event.... Was it a star??? A comet??? Something more?? sooo opinions ppl

There are numerous theories concerning conjunction of various planets.

If you Google star of bethlehem conjunction you will get a good list of various sources.

I personally never got too deep into researching the possibilities, which was some time ago; basically because the dates proposed didn't seem to add up as well as the fact that I, myself, didn't have a definite year with which to define my findings. I may go back to that some time in the future but right now I have too many other things going.

I will check back with your thread, though, in case there is anything I might be able to add after there are some more ideas posted.
