My girlfriends dad visits Jamaica frequently and the people there tell of how ufo's plunge in and out of the water frequently.Solomon islands near Australia is experiencing some of the same things. In ancient Hindu texts, the "gods" gave them the knowledge of how to build vimanas which were flying vehicles that could go to outer space and under water. Why isn't it possible?Like my man said, the earth is 3/4 water...

Yes, the earth is 3/4 water, and i think there are tons of creatures within the depths of the oceans that we have yet to discover. Just look at the mariana trench.

If there were intellegent life within the sea, dont you think they would have tried to contact us by now?

Who would really want to contact us.We kill for what seems like no reason at all (literally). We destroy our own planet. There is much racism, even though humans are the most anatomically similiar beings on the planet. If I was an alien, I wouldn't want to come across a gun or atomic wielding human. We aren't that nice at all!

The Mareanas Trench (not sure spelling right) could easily conceal a huge city/civilisation as could many others areas of the deep ocean without us knowing a thing about them.

wrong

they already sent a probe more than 10km down..and nothing to see

There was some talking going on about what they would eat and survive on... Couldn't they just go through a chemical respiration like most other creatures do at extreme depths were sunlight doesn't penetrate, making it impossible for photosynthesis? That sounds the most plausible to me if something exist at that depth. They wouldn't require to feed on other things since they will be completely sustained by all the chemical reactions... And that would also show how they could have been there since the very first oceans.

Right on the spot there. If i was an intelligent being underwater i would NOT want to contact humans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Why becuase most humans exept for most of the ones on ATS are costently trying to destroy what they dont understand

This picture looks like the head of a badly decomposed seal or a similar marine mammal. I've seen a few decomposed corpses that spent too much time underwater and they usually looks like this.

I think it is possible but how far could they advance with out fire? Think about it for a moment how much of our civilation revolve around fire, welding, forging, plastics, etc how much can be done without fire?

What I am saying is although they might be inteligant I dont see how they could be very advanced

Don't Worry! They Done This by Volcanic Vents.

if there was seapeople wouldn't one of the dead bodies have washed up on the shores??

We see whale carcasses and other marine life washing up on shore, but I don't think we have ever found any seapeople.

On top of that, wouldn't one of them pop up and complain about our polluting of the oceans?

I complain when our neighbors kids leaves their toys in my yard. I don't know what would happen if they dumped their trash in my driveway. I know I wouldn't be quiet about it.

IMO, it is very possible that seapeople, for lack of a better term, exist. USO's - unidentified submerged objects - have been reported for years. There's also been sightings of "merpeople" of the coast of Israel I believe. There is a thread somewhere here on ATS, don't know if it was debunked or not.

The ocean is a vast wonderlnd, granted not as vast as our universe. As for them washing up on shore or being detected by radar...I would think if they actually do exist than they would be much more advanced than we are. They would likely have a definite lead in evolution.

I've been doing research into the Odyssey and whether or not it was mythical or actually based on real places and events. You'd be surprised at what you find. They now believe Troy to be an actual city - now in ruins - when at one point it was thought purely mythical.

Don't see why not given the amount of reports of USOs being made throughout the years.

Even well know navigators known to history have reported strange occurrences at see in their board diaries that are still unexplained and faced a mere collective hallucinations.

Also I would say that for every myth or folk tales there is some truth to it. Mermaid, mythical sea creatures and related could very well be colorful adaptations of such things, race or whatnots.
