FIVE ARGUMENTS I WILL ATTEMPT TO END

Heres my attempt to kill 5 arguments I hear all the time.I kept them all short and simple.

1. THIS BIBLE SAYS

When you attempt to prove the existence of GOD using, the Bible doesn’t hold much weight. You see by simply saying the Bible says . . . you could use a Comic Book to prove the existence of Spider Man. You could also use Loony Tunes to prove that Bugs Bunny is real. You see the trend here?

2.THE SINGLE/MAGIC BULLET

Whether or not one bullet could cause all of those wounds are very debatable. Maybe it happened maybe it didn’t. My question is how could a single bullet cause seven wounds, smash through two bone structures, leave fragments of it self inside of Connelly's body but exits the body in near perfect condition?

It can’t!

3.WHERE DID THE MATTER THAT CAUSED THE BIG BANG COME FROM?

***I must agree this is a great question. The problem I have with it is when believers try to use this question to debunk the Big Bang.***

Nonbelievers ask where did God come from? Believers ask where did the first matter come from? You see we both have the same problem. Believers will say well God has always been there and he exists outside of space and time. Well I would say that is also the case with the Big Bang. Before the Big Bang there was no time or space so again we have the same problem again. Scientists say that at .00000001 secs after the Big Bang matter and time started.so the Big Bang gives us an explanation about the matter before time question. Now does God answer that same question? You are the Judge. The Bible says God created light, grass, trees, animals and everything else but there is no mention of TIME.Imagine living with no sense of time. IMO Time should have been mentioned. It’s kind of important.

4.ATHEISM/EVOLUTION = EVIL

Atheism/Evolution does not equal evil but even if it did that wouldn’t make it any more or less true. Believers always point out certain world leaders that killed many people throughout our history but they forget about the believers that has cause the same type of death and destruction. You see again we have the problem. The difference is while believers have killed in the name of their God an Atheist has never killed in the name of the God they don’t believe in.

5.ME AND SISTER GOT VACCINES AND WERE OK

This is really one of the worst arguments out there. It’s like a gunshot victim saying getting shot is not harmful because he was shot and didn’t die. You see it’s simple. Do you really think every Vaccine they give would be harmful? That wouldn’t make sense any right. If every single person had complications after vaccines there would be no denying that they are harmful.

I look forward to your commets.

FIVE ARGUMENTS I WILL ATTEMPT TO END

When does this happen?
You've listed 5 topics, and your opinion of them, but have not even come close to ending them. You haven't provided any info or even theories to make your case.

How is this supposed to end these arguments?

So uh....... where DID the matter come from? You never seemed to say.

And isn't it kinda arrogant to think that your opinions will end an argument(a bit of a digression here: it seems to be this arrogance, that one's opinions are right and the other's is wrong, period, that degenerates a theist/atheist debate into a flame war)?

im not gonna flame you in any way about this, but the bible isn't exactly a comic book. see, we know who wrote the spiderman comic books. we can go talk to him, and have a conversation with him, and he will tell you that his work in no way is based on fact.

the bible is a little different in that we can't talk to the authors of the bible. the bible itself is comprised mainly of 2 parts, the first being the old testament, a makeshift history of the hebrew people, from the time of adam to the birth of Jesus Christ. the 2nd is the new testament, or the gospels of the disciples of Jesus, and psalms and revelations. the bible isn't a work of either fiction or nonfiction, but a book that allows a believer to have a personal relationship with God, by reading his teachings and applying those teachings in his or her life, and trying to understand who God and Jesus are and try to make sense of our place in the universe. another important difference between the bible and comic books is that events that are described in the bible happened throughout history.

the great flood is an event that is noted in many other works besides the bible. it is noted in the epic of gilgamesh, the Quran, the Eridu Genesis, the epic of atrahasis, and others. i make no claim that these are all actual historical references, but the epic of atrahasis for example was writtin in mesopotamia on cuneform tablets about the great flood itself, and involves multiple deities, and to my knowledge was not written by any person that also wrote any book of the bible.

also, many of the kings spoken of in the bible were actual kings in history. i won't go into this in detail, but if you do a little looking, you'll see as well. peter parker, however, is not a real person.

so to say that using the bible to prove God's existence doesn't hold any weight is right in some aspects, it's a matter of faith whether or not you think god is real. the bible is just a means to an end for christians, and a tool for use in their life.
