Theory: Human Time travellers vs. Little Grey Men

at the very least the BBD's are without question...ours. Lockheed has been developing high-altitude dirigibles for years.....makes sense as no conventional craft can lift as much, as high, for indefinite periods like an electro-static. or otherwise propelled craft can.

The "Butterfly Effect" is an interesting notion, but difficult to prove. I certainly don't know where it has ever been shown that a particular butterfly has ever been proven to have created a hurricane.

Why? Because like the world weather system, the actions of time and the universe appear to be very complex and chaotic systems, and that generally means small alterations and variations do not have that great an effect on the system. Like throwing a rock into a moving river as opposed to a perfectly clear lake. In a clear lake, the ripples could theoretically be seen forever. In the river, however, the ripples expand for a small distance, but are quickly flattened out by the overall trending chaos of the river.

In this way, perhaps it wouldn't be that much a risk to either us or themselves to come back and interact on some small level. UFOs generally seem to be observing rather than doing a lot of direct interaction, so it's possible they have a handle on just how much they can do before it becomes a problem.

Just an idea.

I suppose such a thing is possible, except that I only seem to exist in one universe. If I existed in a multitude of universes, I assume that I would have a multitude of consciousnesses, perhaps even overlapping into various universes. But I only seem to be conscious of the one universe. Things remain remarkably stable, without objects popping in an out of existence. I can go to sleep and be reasonably certain I won't wake up into a world ruled by giant carrots.

So to my way of thinking, the multiple universe idea is reasonable mathematically, but is not an entirely accurate representation of reality. Which leads me to think that UFOs do not come from alternate realities. I could be wrong though. I've been wrong before.

Very good question. I actually had this thought as a small child. I remember it very clearly. In a truck in Montana with my uncle and 2 cousins. I thought "What if UFO's are really ourselves coming back to visit us from the future?"

I was not very old at the time, maybe 9 or 10 years old. I know I was not any kind of UFO nut or anything at the time, so I really have no idea where I got the idea. I even explained the odd appearance of them as just evolving into something of a new species, but still "us".

Well one thing i have always found "odd" about time travel.

I don't know if any of you watch the show "Journeyman"
Its about a guy who randomly travels back in time to help people that will be important to history . Even if in the tiniest way.
Well he travels back with a digital camera in one episode . An leaves it in the past . It gets found by a kid and when he gets back to his own time things are significantly more advanced. (Imagine cell processor tech in "83")

Well the thing that struck me as odd was wouldn't that cause a paradox?
(Yes i know its a tv show , I mean in theory)

Since he came back to his own time. Technology should have advanced infinitely. As his self would have left to do this in the time before he came back he would have left a different camera tech . Advancing tech more and more and more . Till in his time technology advanced so far it couldnt go further or even be comprehended by 1983 us.

So i propose we will never come back in time.
The ramifications would be too great . And too tempting for anyone .
