I'm a firm believer of the spiritual world, and I also believe in psychic abilities. But what about readings? Do any of you go to a psychic on a regualr basis? Or have you even been just once? What was your experience? How accurate were they?

Or maybe you give readings? Any outlook would be great.

In fact, if any of you could give me a reading, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Please PM me. All I will say is that i'm going through a really troubled time in my life, and I would like to know if things are going to get better.

Thanks.

I've been to a few, just out of curiousity over the years.

Very first psychic told me I was going to be the first in my family to have twins.....Didn't happen and never will.

Second psychic told me I would marry my ex... didn't happen and never will.

Third psychic was not too bad, picked up on me, but I don't recall any memorable predictions from her

Fourth was tarot card reader, very accurate, but no specific predictions for the future

Last one was also a tarot card reader, also accurate about the past and present, but again nothing of significance for the future.

I too believe in the paranormal and psychic abilities, but I would only see a psychic for entertainment purposes, not on a regular basis or for advice either. I should mention that all my experiences with "paid" psychics were at fairs, carnivals and malls.

Now there are people I know that I would love to get daily advice and predictions from, but their services are not for sale and they don't like doing it just to do it..

btw I'm sorry about your troubled times, but are you sure you need a psychic to help you out? You know there are alot of websites that you can plug in your questions, or play tarot cards, etc.... they might be the trigger you need, without having to pay for a psychic..

Personally, I believe in the tarot readings; heck, I got my own tarot deck. But, those ones you see on TV with the phone numbers at the bottom for $1.99/min, I think are fake.

And I at first didn't believe in tarot readings myself...

...Until my friend got the same cards 10 out of 10 times.

Most psychics get by on tricks and cold reading techniques, but these shouldn't immediately be dismissed as useless. A lot of what we are and want and do and want is revealed by how we act and how we look. Having a stranger who is an expert at reading people tell you what you need to do and expect to make your life better is not necessarily a bad thing. Sort of like getting makeover advice.

As for "the future," I would suggest that getting a good result depends on what your expectations are and why you want to know in the first place. You do know that in this life all your dreams come true, don't you? All you have to do is work on them. If you want love, travel, wealth, etc., all you need to do is have a plan and work toward those things. You literally create your own future, at least up until the time you die.

When you die, and you will, all of your efforts will be for nothing. I don't have to be a psychic to predict that.

I see a psychic regularly because I live with one. My dad has insane psychic abilities, he can see past lives and things like that. He's nice to have around when I need someone to talk to about things of that nature.

I'd prefer a psychic to just do a reading like over the internet just based on me, that'd kinda prove if they where good or not.

Hey there Cker11,

I'm a Past-life Regression Therapist by profession but I have done Tarot Readings for nearly 20yrs and for several months now I have been doing a few readings on Russell Grant's Live Psychic Tarot Line. The cards themselves do not have magickal powers but they are a good tool to use by way of picking-up psychic/intuitive images, that help to develop a reading.

I would however like to offer you a word of caution ... be careful with any kind of reading ... because the unfortunate truth is, there are a lot of charlatans out there who can't wait to jump on any bandwagon where they might be able to make big money. This then throws a bad light on anyone connected with this field of work.

Should you (or anyone else out there), decide to seek out the services of a clairvoyant/medium/palmist/tarot reader ... it's always wise to make your choice by way of a personal recommendation ... I would never advise anyone to just pick a name out of the phone book (or similar method).

Another good indication of genuinity (is that a word ?)
is price.

I as anyone else, have to earn a living and I have a price list for the therapies I offer. But I'm flexible ... if someone needs what I have to offer but can't afford the listed price I'm always prepared to reduce it or leave them to donate what they can comfortably afford. That doesn't mean I'm some kind of saint ... it's just that I feel very strongly that this kind of thing should be available to anyone ... and finances should not dictate the matter.

Ok, I'll step away from the soap-box now.

I took the liberty of pulling out a few cards for you and what I'm seeing (without going into any personal detail for all to read) is;

A situation that is disrupting the balance of your day to day life. This is causing you to overly dwell on the matter and cause an inner-conflict. You feel that you've worked hard at this and you don't want to see it all coming apart at the seams. The fact that you are allowing this matter to consume you is, in turn preventing you from seeing the opportunities already around you ... that would provide solutions to your problem.

I'm not sure at the moment if it's you or someone close to you, who tends to make snap decisions. This should be avoided as it will only create more problems. Not surprisingly you feel very run-down and it's vital that you take time to recharge your batteries ... if you're not right yourself ... you can't be right for anyone else !

The good news is (providing you step back for a moment to take a breath), justice in this situation will fall in your favour (however things may look at the moment). As I mentioned before, you already have all the tools you need to solve your problem ... you just need to start using them.

I do see someone nearby who wants to offer their support and it won't be long at all before you find yourself looking to the future and wanting to celebrate or share some pleasurable time with the people who mean the most to you. When I make these predictive statements I find that they will happen in weeks rather than months/years.

I hope this has helped in some small way and if you would like a private, indepth reading you'll find my email address in my profile or u2u me and we can arrange something. Woody.

Sorry for your troubles and your not alone, me too.
To answer your question about are the readings real, well I was a real skeptic when it came to this way of fortune telling and so I granted a friend that had the abilities, she was actually a BA Stewardess with gypsy bloodlines and she had the gift of reading Tarot cards, we were in Egypt at that time, which for me, living in Egypt has been along time.
Well we needed a priivate place for her reading just to avoid any outside interference and what she read of my future was a total surprise to her and me and anyone else I told it to. In fact she new me as a friend and her reading confused her and she asked if I wanted another, but me being a skeptic I said no this will do.
It took 1 year to happen but her reading was dead on in all she foretolled and to this day I am still amazed as to her accuracy.
We lost touch shortly after the reading because her flight plans stopped returning to Egypt, I often wish I could find her just to have one more reading because she made me a believer. gwhint

Your post made me laugh as I had a friend who had a father with similar abilites. That guy always knew when his daughter was up to something. Once she got permission from her parents to sleep over at a friends house. She neglected to tell her father they were actually going to a party out in a very remote and rural area. Neither girls parents knew about it. Needless to say, she got in a lot of trouble when her father showed up out of the blue to retrieve her! To this day, I am baffled how he knew the exact location of that party, and that she would be there!

I have been to a few psychic readers in my life. Some were recommended by friends. I must be hard to read because I never got a reading that made any sense whatsoever. My friends always came away pleased with whatever information they received, though. I still thought it was fun, anyway, but I would never take any information seriously.

Best of luck to you with the situation you are going through.
