they have their schtick so polished.....you know, the 'greatest and best band in the world'.
what i like about em is they comedy aspect of it and the fact that KG can play the guitar like a mo.
it took me a long time to get into them but i heard one of their tunes and KG was blazing and i got hooked.
if you do like the d or KG, he is in a band called 'trainwreck' and he is listed as 'kip calhoun'....couldn't use his name kyle gass cause of his
contract.
i love em....i love how JB plays his 'solo' that is played on two strings or a moveable power chord and then they look at the audience like he/they
just played the most amazing solo/riff ever...
Listened to it with my mate Lee. They even had a track on there just for him.
I love Karate!
It's one of those songs that I randomly sing, usually in shopping centres - another reason the wife has cut down the shopping trips that require my
presents!
I've got both albums and listen to them religiously!
I also had the pleasure of seeing them in Atlanta GA in December of 2006. Let me tell you, that was one of the best concerts I'd ever seen. We were
in lower balcony and had a perfect view of everything.
If you do a search on Youtube for Tenacious D in Atlanta, you'll get a taste of what I saw.
They are the greatest band in the world! Woooooooooooo!
I love the D, man, I was supposed to see them in seattle, but my brother decided to take someone else, needless to say I sold the ticket I had got him
for daft punk about a year later.
Especially once I heard a certain song... I can't name it here, but I bet that you guys can guess which one...
has to do with " all the ladys"....
Anyway, two of my poker buddies girlfriends go nuts over this song, and every year at my Halloween party, we play it and they do thier ummm
interpetive dance to it... oh yeah...
OK Tenacious D are pretty sweet, but I'm not THAT into them. I think that Jack Black is one of the funniest peeps to come around in a long time, but
for some reason their tunes never appealed to me in that sort of way.
That was until I heard "F her gently" That has to be one of the best song I have ever heard, and furthermore, my guy and girl friends love to sing
along when I play it. It also is a hit with people that have no idea of TD when I play at bars and stuff.
What’s your favorite posish? That’s cool with me, It’s not my favorite but I’ll do it for you.
Hello, two kings. Long live the D.
Too many great lines to pick just one. But...........Don Wahn.....................
What your favorite dish? I'm not gonna cook it but I'll order it from Zanzibar!
