Something Strange Happening

Something strange happened recently. My Mouse stopped working (both of them) and now my keyboard doesn't work (using my roommates laptop to write this), I think it's really odd.
It all started a couple of days ago. I sent a message to my friend who used to do I.T. for HAARP, as well as several other operations, some of them "TOPSECRET", I told him that I thought I'd been black listed. then I joined this forum and my compy went to the crapper pretty much, well, it turns on, but I can't do anything. I think though that the whole thing may have started even further back. About a week ago I tried to email a person, trying to contact her about an archeology project she was part of that abruptly ended and got literally covered up, well bulldozed by the Gov.. My email never went through I guess, but things have just been getting strange and my compy going to hell is the weirdest of them all.

Has anyone else had this problem, investigating something and then there compy acting up or joining this forum and that happening?

Have you tried some anti-spyware, virus, adware software?


Would be worth a shot. Sounds like it could be a virus problem.

I've had something strange happen to me also. More often than i'd like, i've had my phone ring me back after i sign off the computer (I'm on dial up) and its a man ALREADY TALKING, and i seem to surprise him and he hangs up!!!!!

Not that i care because i dont post anything here i wouldnt scream from the rooftops!!!!! I havent seen any whte vans or low flying black helicopters near my house though.

If they are USB, try a PS2 connection or vice versa.

Computers do weird stuff all the time, the odds are theres nothing sinister about this. Your USB ports could be on the way out.

Ive also had a fair few emails that never got through as well so thats not out of the ordinary.

Well, could be, but I used to get viruses off of peoples computers all the time, I know what to look for and none of them were on my computer other than some cookies because of "Myspace", but those things are harless to my computer, I have Spybot Serch & Destroy on my comp, but it never showed me anything and the registry looked clean as well as all my processes and everything.
Must be a good virus though if it's shutting down my keyboard (I don't see how that's possible) and I can't find it. My comp was running fine for a while then things started slowing down even though no extra memory or prossesor power was being used. When it comes to security I'm pretty good at keeping it secure, I don't go to porn sites, I don't go to WAREZ sites or anything close, I don't click on ads and I pretty much know what's safe and what's not.

But when I told my friend I thought I'd been black listed, that's when things started to get real bad for my comp.

Nope, sorry, I don't use USB. I use USB for my internet though. And that works fine. My comp is'nt over 2 years old either, so I don't think it's an age problem.

See if you can borrow someone's USB mouse or keyboard and see if they work or borrow someone elses mouse or keyboard and try that.

A/NSA/OA all monitor the internet closely. Especially IRC. The Net is described as the most dangerous tool in the world at this point in time because it is uncontrolled. Those who talk about these types of things or carry information about these things on their web sites are closely monitored. In "government talk", orders to "watch" someone translates into instructions to keep track of them by whatever means necessary, and if they cross the line, if they stumble upon the truth of the matter and don't keep their mouth shut, "take them out". This can be done in any way that works without drawing too much suspicion.

THIS is actually a very very good suggestion.

I didn't think about it, but that is EXACTLY what my mouse and keyboard did while my PS/2 slots were dying.

They did this for several weeks before dying permanently.


If this happens and you have USB slots, get you a PS/2 to USB adapter for each.

lol, I don't need anyone to check my myspace. Nothing interesting happens their. Myspace is more like Mywaste. Biggest waste of time I ever had. Besides, you guy's wouldn't be able to find it (evil LOLRZ).
Well, NelysStar, I'm not shuttin' up so they'll have to put a shinny one right between my eyeballs. (is that a wise thing to say?)

This is a funny way of asking for tech support.

My standard troubleshooting procedure is to shut the computer down completely disconnect the keyboard & mouse give it 10-15 seconds and plug them back in, making sure that they are seated well and power the pc back on.

If they are ps2 which has the round end, this procedure will work 99% of the time, the issue is caused by an electrical short in the cable.

If they are usb it is a 50/50 and if the above does not work then you have to uninstall the mouse/keyboard from the device manager and reboot - the pc will automatically re-detect and re-install the mouse/keyboard and it will work after that......or for a faster result you can just simply switch usb ports which does the exact same thing.

By the way, there are no software or drivers involved. If you have installed software for your mouse or keyboard you are either an idiot or you just have a case of OCD where you like to have many customizable buttons doing many things for you. There has been no need to install software for a mouse or a keyboard since windows 95. Im sorry for the rant but I work with complete idiots that have been in the I.T. field for 10+ years and they still think that they have to install software for a mouse/keyboard in order to get them to work.

Luckily for you, you are in a community where nerds & geeks are the majority. I do I.T. and I have to help people with this same problem at least a couple of times a day.

Hey Jimmyjackbox, its funny you mentioned the problems just now. Just after I submited my answer on alien abduction theories today the computer froze and I rebooted just to have the DSL hang up then a strange error message that just wouldnt go away no matter what i did and at that moment in time I was thinking what a strange timing it was, talking about abductions, I instantly felt like something else is in control and it was not just a computer failure, yes, I do believe things outside of our immediate control are taking place, its here to either control us or screw us or both, gwhint

Hey, uh, I'm comp savvy enough to not need tech support. Besides, anything I can' handle I take to my friend, but he is like most of america and believes this country doesn't lie to us or do anything wrong and that we're in a war on terrorism (A Nameless, Faceless, Enemy). I feel he would lie to me seeing how he has a high security clearance and told me he is "them" one time and he was being serious, so whatever he tells me is what he wants me to know. What do you guys think HAARP is? A giant laser of doom, well, he told me it's for bouncing a laser off the tropisphere(?) to send info from one part of the world to the other, whether that's true or not is beside the point. I've tried everything I know to do to my comp (I'm a 3D Graphics Artist for many years) and this boggles the mind. I'm sure the simplest explanation will be the best, but I've gone over everyone of them I can think of and nothing works.

gwhint, what kinda antivirus progs do you have? They could be making your processor work too hard (most antivirus stuff is full of spyware), plus if you have an old system and tons of stuff running in the background it could do it, but your explanation is just as good as mine right now, seeing how my predicament is about as strange as yours.

I remember a couple of years ago there was this haunted Japanese box on auction on ebay. It had a very sinister history behind it and supposedly bad things happened to whoever possessed the thing. One guy was trying to make a bid on it, when he clicked at the end to confirm the bid he says something burned up in his computer. His geek friend said the damage was unexplainable.

Hello everyone, im quite new to this site and really don expect to be on here for long. I saw this and read many of the wird posts on this form.
Here are some weird things that have been happening with me and i would love to know what some of you ppl think of it.
Im 21, no college, simple kid simple job, dip my hands in conspiracy theories here and there but not too much. One day i have a few PUBLIC accessable site up, mainly maps and such. during that i was speaking with my gf on my cell and we both heard a reall LOUD bEEEEEEp over the phone and we both took the phone from our ears, then instantaniously both highspeed net and cable went out, and comp locked up. so i hung up with here and eventually fixxed the problem. got back on the phone with her and it sounded like there was an empty space or a void between her and i. That is what happend that night. A few days later i was leaving for the gasstation and i made a left onto a road, and a block down a large white im guessing for van was moving in reverse slowly out of view. didnt really think anything of it. Around the same time, i was ont he phone and sounded like someone was chuckling deeply. That all just in the begining and end of november. The first of this month of December. The beginings of a snow storm, i get done with work and having fun with the suv leaving the parking lot. well noone is around because it is #ty out and such. so i decided to go to a friends and going down the road i notice out of no where a black ford suv catching me, complete black windsheild and tinted cover over license plate. so i get to this intersection ready to dial my friend, put it in 4 wheel drive and fly across the intersection, i slow down about 6 car length away and watch him. calling my friend i told them i beleive im being followed and i wanted them to look at the plates of the car... at that time the suv made it across the intersection and so i continued... then right when i finished telling them to get ready to look out the window, im making the turn, that weird noise come over the phone again freaked my friends out and the hung up... with no support i abandoned the care and whipped around when i turned around the suv was gone!!!! i watched it up to the point of me whipping it around.. it disappeared as fast as it appeared... so i have no clue... would you guys like to epress your thoughts on this matter? email me!!!!
