I have very scary story to share about what happened to my brother some few years ago. The thing about my brother is that he is very mature. Thinks I'm crazy for believing in aliens and U.F.O.'s, and is emotionally a rock. Not to mention the biggest skeptic I have ever met. But I thought I would share this story in a hope for some answers. It is a very personal story in that I would die for my brother and do anything to protect him, but on this particular night I was unable to do that. Imagine this story is being told by the most rational minded, well rounded, person who never lies and has a good grasp on reality. In fact would never be one to discuss a matter like this unless utterly terrified. That is my brother. His name is James.

According to my brother he was unable to get some sleep one night and decided to move from his bed to the couch in his room. It was around 12 am when he had gone back to sleep and everyone in the house was asleep as well. In fact a particularly deep sleep. He was awakened at about 2-3 am. Possibly a bit later and looked outside the window where he saw a bright orb of light comeing from the window. According to James, he began to raise into the air towards the light on the other end of the room. He started screaming and fighting with all he could to be free, and was doing so quite succesfully. The light stopped almost immediately with a flash and he was pushed back onto the couch. He came screaming into my parents room on the verge of tears (I have never seen that from my brother) and screaming that something was in his room trying to take him. His screams awakened my parents who met him in the hallway.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, he is a very gifted teenager and seemed to suffer from a slight case of PTSD after the incident. He was shaken terribly for the next couple of days and tried to look to other sources of comfort. I have never seen him like this. Actually all the times I have seen U.F.O.'s have been with my brother at my side at night time. I am worried about this. Does anyone know what may have happened that night? I was researching it and it seems fall similarly within the lines of abduction victims.

He's a classic case of one of those people, no matter the evidence you show them they try to believe they never saw it or that there eyes must have been playing tricks on them, etc. Now why he would ever think two crafts would come down the mountains in the country, that he witnesses, and deny it well it's just arrogance or perhaps over time he convinced himself it never happened. But that's another story for another time.

I can't tell you what happened that night, but did he have any scars or missing time. It is possible it was a lucid dream or sleep appnia (sp?)

Never checked him for scars or asked him about missing time. I mean if it was a lucid dream there would really be no way to tell since I didn't check for scars. I've never had a lucid dream but it seemed very real to him. I have had an OBE before, but the way he described it, didn't seem to be anything like the OBE I had. I think sleep appnea is actually when you have suspension of breath.

AFAIK, there have been few to no reports that an AAV (abduction vic) has been able to resist an attempt once underway.

Not sure what this means, because I don't personally subscribe to the ETH.

But, otoh, I'm not saying it's impossible...

Nice story, well put.

Umm, do you carry a portable video cam around with you? Cam-phone?

If not, er, ah, um, (duh).

You can get one for 29 bucks from CVS, though the downloadable version is 69, and there's an 89 or 99 buck version with even more memory. (google puredigital point and shoot).

Good luck!

I'm not calling you a liar, I am just stating that your contradiction is consistent with one of the things we are trained to look for in liars. Is this story true?

However, this is not important because I'm sure someone out there has had a similar experience, but for one key element.

Every other Abduction victim describes an immovable pressure on their chest and symptoms consistent with sleep paralysis, which your brother does not. I find it very strange, but this does not mean that it automatically disqualifies this story from possibly being true.

I must say I'm baffled.

Well if it wasn't aliens, in the worst case it could by a symptom of a mental disorder that may be dormant.. A psychotic episode of sorts.. Or.. perhaps just a harmless but amazingly vivid dream..

In November '05 i was in Cuba, vacationing.. On my last night at the resort, I had this dream that I was running away from a triangular craft.. I remember feelings of immense fear throughout the duration of the dream.. Anyway, it was a strange dream, but I thought nothing of it.. I have strange dreams from time to time

Now here's the seemingly crazy part... The next day I flew back home to Toronto.. Brought my bags into my apartment, then went out onto my balcony for a smoke.. I was on the 16th floor of a building close to downtown Toronto, with a good view of the night sky.. It was dark out, decent view of the few stars you can actually see in toronto... As I stood there having my smoke, I observed a large Triangular craft flying over.. At this point in time, I recalled my dream and began to shake with fear, thinking that I was loosing my mind completely.. I ran inside to get a grip of myself, heart racing and completely freaked out.. I had the courage to step outside again to take a look.. Couldn't see the triangular craft anymore, but saw a strange glowing orb flying from east to west, seemingly parallel to Bloor St. here in Toronto... The Triangle (dimly illuminated by 5 or 6 white lights) flew from north to south - over lake ontario..

But yah, I was worried, but haven't lost my mind yet
