Speak to me no more of a liberal media bias.

I'm not talking about posing with a turkey, or on an aircraft carrier this time. Those are staged.

But the so called liberal media absolutley adores making this guy look good lately.

Frm CNN just this morning (amidst stories of Bush's speech in SC in front of Coast Guard ships):

I'm a Fireman; Argh...

I Pray too! Argh...

Again, all CNN, all this morning. What the hell? The "liberal" media LOVES this schmuck!

Bush joining Tom Ridge of all people to give a speech at a Coast Guard base about the Patriot ACT and how we'll be protected from terrorists with the PATRIOT ACT, the same ones they claim they can't find because without the Patriot ACT they claim our intelligence agencies can't share or get info...Ok lets give up all of our privacy for some protection?? but wheres the freedom?? weren't the people in 1984 and equilibrium pretty much under some sort of protection at a certain cost..don't go near the flaming bush, ok moses?

Yeah is hard for me not to smack someone when I hear the words "liberal media". Have they not been watching TV the last 2 years?! Do they actually take a look at these talking heads on the cable news stations?!

FOX news, who is their "star" anchors? Bill O'Reily and Sean Hannity. Both extreme right wingers who don't even make the attempt to seem "fair and balanced". Even the regular FOX news anchors are biased (see Wesley Clark's incident)

MSNBC- Chris Matthews, tries to appear impartial, but ruins the illusion when he sits there with all of his conservative buddies for an hour slamming democrats.
Joe Scarborough....don't even get me started on that beady-eyed sumbitch.

Now CNBC has Dennis Miller, the "comedian" turned liberal-bashing political commentator. It's almost painful to watch his show, he's sits there hoping for laughs while he releases un-funny zingers aimed at the Democrats. I swear you can hear crickets chirping... :shk:

Here's a nice review of this pseudo-comedic travesty: story.news.yahoo.com.../nm/20040128/review_nm/review_television_miller_dc_1

Yeah, I guess FoxNews ratings have turned the big 3 as well as the rest of the bunch. Just a few short years ago, CNN was labled the Clinton News Network because they had so many stories about the guy. Well, guess what? He was the freakin' president. Now, we wonder why they have so much coverage of Bush. Duh! News is news and the leader of the country your based in is largely going to get coverage. DUH!

The media is not liberal nor conservative but rather an entity controlled by and for the benefit of the CFR. It will be either/or depeding on its objective. It tells you what you want to hear to gain trust and then it tells you to hear what it wants to tell. But, like a grocery store that caters to a wide clientel, its got something for everybody.
