A little help on NDE

I've never really talked about this but after coming accross this site I thought I would share this which is the reason why I am currently caught up in all this 2012 thing mainly the spiritual side.

I would like to know if anyone else has experienced a similiar event.

Around 13 yrs ago I was involved in a car crash and when the paramedics came to the scene they say I was flatlined for just over 2 minutes.
This is what I experienced during that time but never really took any notice of it until the past couple of years after studying many spiritual practices. I am more of a science (qauntum physics side) guy because I guess I always want answers which can be difficult in this area....
Anyhow this is what happened;

I remember a small clear (not white) dot that got larger until I was surrounded in this atmosphere. The only way I can describe it is imagining cupping a handful of air, this is what I was surrounded in, no colour just air to infinity.
Yet the sensation was that everything was around me, I just had to look.
The feeling was of a really happy and relaxed state. Iremember seeing a giant cog so I walked up to it and stepped between one of the teeth, it was turning round (tik-tok, tik-tok) until eventually I had done a full cicle when I fell of into infinity when I was getting worried wondering if this falling will ever end. Bit of a blank bit here but the next thing is the interesting bit which I haven't told many people about as is just sounds made up.

I was stood in this nothingness when a voice asked if I wanted to stay or to go back. Beleive it or not but this was a hard choice as I felt so at home where I was. While trying to decide the voice told me I should go back as it was not my time, there are things to do!

With that the next moment was when I came to in the ambulance.....

This has always been with me and for some reason I feel that I wanted to share as maybe someone here knows of a similiar experience.

PS the topics i have been studying lately especially qauntum physics on a spiritual nature reminds me of this NDE.
Also I feel that our Sun plays a big part on creation........

Woah, very interesting. I'm not too knowledgeable on NDE's, but this sounds like either your subconcious talking, or possibly 'God'.

WOW! I've always wondered if I had my body, I don't think so just soul I guess and I know that feeling of bliss and at home so much you could stay...Amazing to see someone else with similiar experience , now I definitely know it wasn't just a dream, thanks.

I am getting closer to the answer of why it wasn't my time.
