Christianity is not a religion. it's a belief. We follow the word of Jesus and we believe that he was the son of god. A form of GOD in human form to walk on earth. Therefore, it was not created at all, you can't create a belief on something or someone.

100% agree with u

christians created the character jesus so the roman will go crazy.. also they created the false movement so the romans will persecute them and the people will look at the romans as evil killers.

AND WE ALL KNOW WHO WON!!!

BUT IN REALITY THOSE who created the christian movement were or are SUN worshipers.[see Zeitgeist for more info].

Though on the surface the idea holds merit, it doesn't account for a lot of historical evidence. For one, the Roman rebellion you speak of I'm assuming is the barbarian invasion that came in. In that case, there's no evidence that the barbarian invasion was Christian in nature at all. What's more, scripture says to respect authority as our leaders were placed there by God for that time and that place, and to obey them unless their rule goes against God's rule.

In addition, when Christianity was first beginning to flourish, after Rome had destroyed the temple and Jewish persecution against Christians had all but stopped, you were pretty well assured of death if you declared yourself a Christian. Yet, one of the fundamental elements of declaring yourself for Christ is baptism, which is a public declaration of exactly that.

It wouldn't make sense to have rebels declare themselves rebels before ever doing something against such a strong military force as Rome.

dictionary.reference.com...
a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

Yeah, it is a religion.

I never claimed that it did. My moderator status does not make my opinion any more or less valid than your own. If you'd like more info on how ATS views this, you can see this thread: Moderators are People Too (And They Have Opinions)

As to my statements not making sense, what about them doesn't?
