Gulible Suckers or Intentional Deceivers?

No names.....no threads......no forums being singled out but I have noticed a huge increase in sensational thread titles regarding linked stories, news reports, videos etc. that TOTALLY mis-represent the content of the story, or totally miscontrue the meaning of quotes, statements, data.

Opinions...are these posters just dumb, poor readers, or are they so emphatic in their belief of their favorite topics and theories they intentionally twist the message? Or do they subconciously twist the meanings to match there own views?

Whichever it is, its really p'ing me off lately, and it makes me fear for the future if their reading and judgement skills are so poor.
