I have never believed whitley striebers storys, even when i first saw him on larry king back in the 90s when he came out with his book "comunion"

i decided to revisit this self proclaimed ET guru to give him another chance in my own opinion of the man, so im listening to his radio show, "dreamland" hes talking about astral projection, talking about how after he had a visitor on the show who was an avid APer. he says he was attacked by astral entitys/ astral wildlife as his guest called it. now i believe in astral projection, i was into that long befor my intrest in UFOs ect. so i dont doubt its existance, but listening to strieber i just cant bring myself to believe anything he says even now listening to him tell this story, and doing some research into his radio archive he hadent had any Astral Experiances good or bad prior to this guest, but after this guest comes on and explanes about astral or psychic attacks all the sudden that night strieber had profound astral experiances and is attacked by unknown entitys who crawl up his leg and into his "privates" as he explaned it. he says he "delt with it" and became "confortable" with the presents of this invisable thing crawling threw his wang... give me a break, its funny he has this happen only after the ideas we related to him by someone els. i guess what im trying to say is i think striebers a lier, and in it for the money/fame, hes the only "contactee" i have trouble believeing.
what do u think?

Hilarious headline, got me LOL again over here, awesome, I believe that stuff that laughing adds seven years to your life.

Whitley, read a couple of the mass-market paperbacks including "Communion" and a couple others. He's the typical abductee story of love/hate and how badly *they* affect his "consciousness" and more new age "shanti shanti" nonsense.... in retrospect, I wasted some serious time on any of his books.

By the third book, he's 'missing' the Greys and doesn't really offer any new info. Almost as a theme for the night, I think he's some sort of agent for the gov't to spread this stuff to the believers, why, I don't know, get people to fear or to believe, the 'ufo community' seems easily appeased, all they ever 'cry' about is having to pay for info -- while they're reading the same twenty articles every week... but I digress....

So, Whitley, turns out, wrote the screenplay to Day After Tomorrow, the corporate, fatalist, alarmist 'global superstorm' hoax, and the next on the blockbuster Hollywood list - 2012 - War for Souls. This was comparable to Left Behind in it's pathetic writing, not that I've read the latter, but that assumption I'll stick w/ considering writing can't get worse then that.... coming soon to a theater near you in 2009 or 2010.

Here's a thread I started about it: www.belowtopsecret.com...

Not that I am an expert on the guy, but I do think he plays with a full deck.
It's just that he's not as believable as even... our buddy Danny boy Burisch.
There are people in this world that crave attention.
paris hilton, burisch and streiber all come to mind.
Why this is, is anybody's guess. It just is.
I just don't pay attention to the ones whom I've identified as phony.
streiber is just one such guy.
