Second post. Just thought of this in a flash and had to get this down before I lose it.

The brain is made up of inner brains in a nicely seperated fashion, each brain kept preserved rather than evolved away. The outter most modern cerebral cortex will soon be the inner brain of another bigger brain. Our wants and desires will still be perceived, although maybe a bit less. We will probably play more and without so much hangups.

Over and out,

But, I guess my point was to sit and think about what it would be like existing as an inner consciousness and perhaps, what it may be like to try and communicate your intentions to a higher consciousness that is in more control now.

Cool, eh?

Wow, I'm on a roll.

Maybe that's what the alien phenomena is all about. We are inner, more primitive beings/consciousness/etc. screaming and yearning to contact higher consciousnesses/beings. But, they are hard of hearings and it takes great effort to contact them. The onlly thing you can do is just keep knocking on the door over and over and over and over and demand to be heard.

Our primitive selves are carried along with us through evolution. This keeps us grounded and connected at the lowest levels of life. All are important. We should demand to be heard. We only want to communicate and our wants and needs are also important too.

Instead of just listening for aliens, we should be sending out constant signals saying HELLO! HELLO! HELLO! There's got to be a customer service line we can call. Our planet is a wreck. We have money, we can pay them.

Out,

Did you read the thread where Red Bull is dangerous? Slow down and smell the salts.

Seriously, we may very well evolve into another "brain stage", but I wouldn't expect it soon. I doubt any person here will need to change hat sizes.

If your talking about the dichotomy between being a poo-throwing primate and an enlightened humanoid I understand. Otherwise I have no idea.

I look at human beings as neurons in a giant brain. Neurons that fire together, make a connection. Neurons that no longer fire together break their connection. I relate that to us finding people who share common things with us, be it our significant other, friends, family. This is why people move from some people to others as their interests change, ie. not firing together. So in a way I agree how we're all 'inner brains' of one larger brain, one large consciousness.

Haha, well at least quintar gets my drift, who I already dig due to his flaming eye avatar. Had one once in another forum I copied out of the Parabola vid at the end when the Salvia leaf starts the character's journey.
