Dark Matter Doesn't Exist?

Two Canadian astronomers think there is a good reason dark matter, a mysterious substance thought to make up the bulk of matter in the universe, has never been directly detected: It doesn't exist.

What does everyone think of this? Is it plausible or does dark matter really exist? Personally, I think it does exist and that dark matter is needed to explain why galaxies don't fly apart as explained here
