There are obviously many members here that are interested in all aspects of the paranormal, however i was wondering how many had qualified, or were
planning to gain any qualification in the field of the paranormal?
I ask because it is something that i would be interested in, but also i know there are plenty of easy and worthless qualifications to be gained out
there.
Personally i think that experience and research cannot be beaten by a certificate, so an important factor is to get out there and start
investigating.
However if you wanted to take it a little or a lot more professionaly, then maybe a qualification and some letters after your name may be of help.
By the way, i am a big believer that letters after your name and fancy titles can often mean very little, however in this day and age we have to
accept that they DO help sometimes.
I know someone who did a correspondence course to become a qualified parapsychologist. £120 got them about 6 assignments sent through the post, Each
one they did in about 2 hours. Some reading material on each subject followd by a multiple choice exam go them this qualification.
They have never been on a ghost hunt, probably never will, but they did it as an interest course. Does this really qualify them to be called a
parapsycholgist?
Any advice, opinions or suggestions?
