Two people have been killed in an explosion at a house in Axbridge, Somerset.

The emergency services were called to a property in St Mary Street after reports of a blast just before 3pm this afternoon.

The story is breaking.

No idea of what has caused it.

Did a google search and found a miner's forum based in the U.K - they're chatting about how it might have been propane.

I don't think they know that people were involved yet, or if they do they're not talking about it.

There was a bit of comment on the strength of the explosion, but i'm not aware of the landmarks in that area.

We'll find out more soon enough, i guess.

EDIT: What's the deal with this anyway?

I don't think it's likely there'll be a conspiracy behind it (although the cause of the explosion might be interesting).

I just feel sorry for the families involved.
