It's a clever little design and has many good qualities but suffers from one killer flaw ... the high disc loading and mechanical drag are too high for proper autorotation in case of powerloss. In other words, if you lose power, your going to drop like a brick.

They have some vague words on the web-site about an emergency chute but thats all hocus pocus for now. It would take a bit of reengineering of to get a load bearing chute bracket positioned above the rotor. The only other high disc loading counter-rotating coaxial rotor helicopters are the russian ones and those come with fancy ejection seats.

An ultra light VTOL is better off with a single rotor because less mechanical compexity and disc loading results in a far safer aircraft.
