Israel News Speculates on Ezekiel Gog & Magog War

Israel Warns World War III May be Biblical War of Gog and Magog

US President George W. Bush said a nuclear Iran would mean World War III. Israeli newscasts featured Gog & Magog maps of the likely alignment of nations in that potential conflict.

Channel 2 and Channel 10 TV showed the world map, sketching the basic alignment of the two opposing axes in a coming world war, in a manner evoking associations of the Gog and Magog prophecy for many viewers. The prophecy of Gog and Magog refers to a great world war centered on the Holy Land and Jerusalem and first appears in the book of Yechezkel (Ezekiel).

Now comes the speculation. Is this prophecy about to be fulfilled? No one knows for sure, but it's a very valid point to bring up. Iran along with Russia seems bent on destroying Israel. Putin recently chided the US for threatening war with Iran. What would Russia do if Israel carried out a pre-emtive strike against Iran. Was Israel's recent incursion into Syrian airspace a strike against Syria's nuclear site. Was it a probe to find a weak point to enter into Iran?

All good questions, that none of us here have a good answer for. One thing we can do however, is to observe the warning flares that are going up. What we are seeing does appear to be the perfect set-up to fulfill this prophecy.

is actually a reprint/rerun from when it ran on the 18th of October !!



the next day, 'Arutz Sheva' ran an article about the re-established
Sanhedrin being barred from climbing the Temple Mount,
by ~gasp~ Israeli security personnel !?!

two things pop up in my schizo. brain ...
One, is that the news source is busy presenting a 'narrative' to
their readers... it might be an attempt to prepare the populace for
more conflict with Syria, maybe Hizbollah in Lebanon, pehaps with
modern day Iran (Persia)...

Two, that the news source, much like the neocons which hijacked the
U.S. administration...are intentional and focused on 'making' end-time
prophecies come about.
from the letters delivered to the Jewish communities in Iran,
offering additional monetary inticements to the exiled Jews to re-gather the remaining 'diaspora' back in Israel-
to the repeat of this type of public opinion swaying article.
which translates the event of Israeli bombing of Syria as necessary because it is a part of the War of Gog-Magog against Israel...as will be the near future attack on Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

when Ezekiels' message was mid-east centric, and all those cities/regions/peoples listed are ALL future* Islamic peoples/tongues/nations...from North Africa to the peoples of Turkey,
Arabia, the armenians,georgians, azerbajani,and several other 'stans
including pakistan,kazakistan, generally between the
Mediterranian & Black & Caspian seas & all the way to India...

So is it a self-fulfilling prophecy or a case of "The boat is already going to china-town so let's get on board". This brings up a great paradox. Did the prophecy take into account that the prophecy itself would be seen as a road-map? Was it designed to be self-fulfilling?

I do think you're correct about points 1 and 2. Israel can use this as a pretext for preparing for war, and the U.S. can use this as a planning board for what to prepare for. Of course theologians will debate that God didn't give these fortune-telling predictions as an indication of what he was causing to happen, but that it was just a prediction from someone who could see through the 4th dimension into what would happen.

Either way it's rockets, bombs, and nukes for all.

Surely the Iran/Russia thing and its relationship to Gog Magog War mentioned in Ezekial is/could be prophecy soon to be fulfilled. But I think it is only the beginning. I'm sure Russia has provided many of their arms. Russia's statement about (an attack on Iran is an attack on Russia) may be idle threat- for now. I think it will mean more equipment/troops ect will move into Iran thus basing for the attack on Isreal mentioned in Ezekial.

Although vague it is apparently God who "supernaturally" wipes out 5/6 of the combined Russian/Iran/misc other moslem nations force who decend on Isreal. It is a stretch to see the US in that picture unless we are "hand of God"....that is really a stretch.

Most of what I have read concerning the timing of GOg/Magog war in prophecy just puts it in the end times prior to AntiChrist desecrating the temple.

and were removed enough for noone to care. but if this is about to kick off, like many of us speculate, i wouldnt be watching iran and russia. it'd be china my eyes would be watching.....
