I just happened upon the Glenn Beck show while channel surfing and caught him just as he was pondering why it is that Ron Paul is GAINING popularity while all the other candidates seem to be losing it.

Could it be that Glenn Beck is really so STUPID that he REALLY doesn't understand the popularity?

Could it possibly be that we don't LIKE the borders being wide open? Or just MAYBE we are SICK AND TIRED of the current two party system we have had thrust upon us for decades now? Or maybe, just maybe, we are disgusted with the fact that our money is no longer worth JACK.

I don't know, I suppose if you have a pile of money in your wallet as the result of your biased and crappy radio and television show, you may like the way things are now. But, the rest of us out here are freaking STRUGGLING!

Am I the ONLY ONE who finds it depressing that the average hourly salary in this country will barely buy two gallons of gas? Hell, the average hourly salary in this country likely won't even buy you a gallon of MILK. There is definitely something wrong there.

Could GB really be that dumb?

I doubt it. I find it MUCH more likely that it's just another form of doublespeak.....meant to make his viewers ask the same questions about Ron Paul when they really know NOTHING about him.

Gah! It makes me SICK!

Glenn should pick that bottle back up and leave the radio and television hosting to the pros.

Ron Paul would be a good Candidate, 100+ years ago. But we are living in the end Times, we need a strong leader.

VOTE Rudy Giuliani !

I think Glenn Beck knows the truth, but plays the part he has been selected to play, I believe it is an OReily type character for CNN.

Here is an interesting Video.

I agree.

However, I wasn't calling him a moron for not PERSONALLY endorsing Ron Paul. However, he IS a moron if he doesn't understand WHY a good number of people DO support Ron Paul.

We are sick of term after term after term of corporate controlled figureheads and we want a change.

Thanks everyone for your input.

THIS has to be the funniest thing EVER to come out of your postings.

Why? Because you speak of how conservative you are ... then ... you suggest to vote for that guy?!!!!??!! Rudy is a liberal! :lmao: pro-gun control issue alone should be enough to wake you up that he isn't conservative just because he has an R next to his name. vote for a liberal republican because I tell you that I am a conservative ... who else sees the contradiction in this post? He is NOT a strong leader, quite buying into the load of bull chips they are feeding you. If you want a strong leader, well, an ex-military would probably be stronger than some goober. I am ashamed I have the some of the same ethnic heritage as that crook. Intelligence is a virtue, and one that should be used frequently.

ok, I won't take you too seriously from now on.

As far as GB ... he is a paid entertainment employee. They don't state their opinions, they state the ones they are endorsed to repeat. Very few people state how they really feel on tv these days ... it is taboo and will get you blacklisted. How will you pay your bills without a job selling poo?

Glenn Beck is a media puppet. He gives this "alternative" view, gives you things you won't see on typical news casts, builds his image of being truthful to his fans because he's more open than the rest of media is, then his masters have him trash people like Ron Paul to eliminate his fans as potential voters for Ron Paul, because since Glenn Beck is so truthful in their eyes, what ever he says about Ron Paul must be true.

Everyone in major media is controlled, except (in my opinion) Lou Dobbs. I believe he's sincere, but I question his efforts. He trashes this administration, he exposes the war on the middle class, and exposes the NAU, but I wonder what he's doing outside of his show to stop such things? I mean, I can imagine he has enough money to last him the rest of his life, so life is pretty good right now for him. So I question his true loyalty to the middle class.

You got O'Reilly blasting his propaganda from the right, you got Glenn Beck blasting his propaganda from the left, you got the garbage in the middle blasting news about Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, but they're all in the same boat when it comes to affecting the minds of Americans. They all keep their respective audiences blinded and steered clear of the truth, while just mixing the thoughts of these people between right and left political bickering to achieve distraction and buy time for these corrupt assholes to do what they want to do.

Then you got Olbermann and Dobbs. Both go against the norm, but both could very well be very good actors. Olbermann just seems like he doesn't even take his own stuff seriously, so I have to question his credibility.

The only real way to get away from it is to ignore them and do your own research into alternative news, gather news from many different sources, and judge on your own.

Beck is no moron. He is a highly effective and well paid propagandist. The propaganda techniques are much more subtle these days, and Beck seems quite expert at them. I’ve listened to his radio show a bit, and he’s very skilled at what he does. He’s certainly one of the best of the media whores.

This is what I'd expect from another Ron Paul drone. I've found that these Ron Paul supporters find everyone who doesn't agree with Paul to be a moron or an insane person.

The fact of the matter is that this whole Ron Paul thing is a daydream. He has no REAL chance of being elected, or even winning the nomination. His only real support comes from his anti-war stance and his backing of internet message board users. No matter how many polls you can show he is "gaining momentum" in does not change the fact he has no real chance. This seems to be a hard pill for Paul supporters to swallow; as I'm sure I'll be hit with many statistics and flaming posts for my comments here.

No matter, you will get no argument from me on this. Ever single one of you who votes for Paul is only drawing votes away from Hillary Clinton.

And who can argue with that?

I heard Gleen Beck one day say that his IQ MIGHT be 91... He was talking about how if he could make it, anyone could.. The guy, to my knowledge, has never claimed to be anything but average. I personally like the guy. But, anywhooo

Really? You think Giuliani is the answer? I don't. I think Mitt Romney is much of a better Republican Candidate than Giuliani. I have to wonder, after listening to his views on gay marriage and such, why he is even going after the Republican Candidacy...
