Alternate
Fuel Sources:
Solar Power
Wind Power
Geo Thermic power
Hydrogen fuel cells
All of these are good clean fuel sources but unfortunalty big oil has control of every infrastructure on earth. And we are at the point now that
we can predict how long these oil sources will probably last. Lets say about 70 years until the big drop off. Just an estimate. This is the day all
those alternate fuel seekers are telling us about, warnings we should listen to but what are we doing about it.
We are not changing on any kind of scale that brings true impact. This is a problem for alternate fuel because the big impact on global warming
and pollution come from the bigger industries whose economic wellbeings are tied directly to the economies of the large influential countries.
The alternate fuel side want us change the world by changing ourselves. Getting hybrids, adding AF's to your house or company in order to
conserve what?
The Earth is the answer they want you to think of but in fact all you are doing is conserving the earths OIL reserves. The oil companies love this.
Mark my words each of the large oil companies will contribute huge sums of money and political influence in the support of alternate fuels.
The oil companies problem is how do get more out of the oil we have left. Alternate fuel is doing there work for them but under the misconception
that these alternate fuels are somehow greening up the planet. All they are doing is extending oils rule over the earth and in the end the same
amount of pollution will enter the environment.
What needs to happen is a top to bottom change before we hit the wall with oil. Give the masses an infrastructure to support that change, like
hydrogen fuel stations, public electric rechargers etc. All new construction should be build with the ability to adapt to the new fuels when they
are developed enough. Point is we need to see real changes from our leadership and real policy u-turns in order to make a future with alternate fuels
possible. Using them to mitigate oil prices will just keep oil entrenched.
Using Alternate Fuels now will soften the impact of higher oil costs as we get lower on oil. All this serves is to extend and possibly increase
the amount of damage we do to this planet.
