Robot-Cannon Kills Nine People

I been thinking about that little taser robot, laughing as I imagine a guy in a house seeing it roll through the door, or a line of them at a protest.

I can think of a ton of countermeasures.
Grab the couch cushion or throw a blanket over it. But I think most people would sit and stare at it while it rolled up and gave a 10,000 volt kiss. But that is a great link, I got a good chuckle from it

I am sure this was an internal malfunction, a one in a million chance of happening. I just also can't help but wonder as cyberwar fare becomes more common, how a virus might be planted to cause much of the same problem.
Systems are being increasingly automated all the time, I do fear something like this might happen again. Just don't know if it will be an accident.
