EVP Help

I have an evp a friend and I got a while back and I cant find anything to play it. It came from a digital voice recorder and is an .LP file. I have lost touch with him and I'm not sure what brand of recorder it is from. My best guess is that it is a proprietary file type. Google and every other search engine have failed me. Maybe one of you guys have a recorder that uses that file type. Please help it is really good.

I'm not certain this will help you... but I use the free versions of Audacity and Goldwave for my evp recordings. Perhaps one or the other might help you out.

If you want I could take a look if you want I am no expert but I can try and clear it up aswell for you. Drop me a U2U if you want me too I have a lot of software that MAY be able to play it or convert it to a playable format.
