They way I see it there are two separate words to be applied to this discussion. The first is "Magic" which is to be connected with acts such as
Blaine, Copperfield, etc. The second is "Magick" which usually refers to things of a more supernatual than trickery and slight of hand. I put more
stock in Magick than some fool on stage, because he is decieving you by slight of hand, smoke and mirrors. I would think Voodoun, Wicca, and perhaps
the more extrodianry parts of Shamanism would qualify as Magick rather than Magic, if any of this even makes any sense.
