During the age of 12-13, I had a lot of falling dreams. These involved me descending from the clouds and at an incredible speed, I would hit the ground and then wake up. I’d have a falling dream at least 2-3 times a week, and it would get to the point where as soon as the falling dream happened, I new how it was going to end and how the scenario would basically happen.

Some times I’d feel the wind blow under me as I fell each time, awaiting the inevitable impact of the ground. Most of the time I could see what looked like towns worth of houses on the ground like suburbs, although I can’t remember everything as most of them are blurry now, like when you try to remember a movie you saw 10 years ago.

I can remember one specific falling dream, where i saw what looked like characters from a cartoon, I must’ve probably watched back then, although I can’t remember the name, probably some kind of loony tunes cartoon or something, anyway…and they the characters were being chased by this big man whom was not a cartoon, in fact, they the characters were the only cartoon anything in the dream. I was standing and observing at a distance, on what seemed from memory to be a big open brass field and they the cartoons began to run in my direction as they were being chased by the big man, whom was more strong and muscly then, big and fat. Like someone who’s been at the gym for a while, and then stopped.

I stood there as they ran passed me, pulling strange funny faces at me as they passed while the man was still chasing them, he then saw me and began chasing me, and so I ran. As soon as I started to run, there was a cliff, and so I jumped off, although I didn’t see the cartoons jump or anything after they passed me, but I remember the falling quite vividly. No more then 50-70 meters was the other side of the cliff with grass and all, and as I fell, I couldn’t see the bottom, it was so shadowy and dark. I don’t remember hitting the ground or waking up after it, but most falling dreams felt like some of the most incredibly realistic ones I’ve ever had. Although I’ve had more realistic experiences of other things, but I wont go into that…..

Anyway….. I’ve been told that falling dreams mean your life is either changing soon, or is in the middle of doing so, in a way, that’s going to change who you are for ever, or something like that…..I’m not really sure what they mean, but the fact that they occurred so frequently back then is still a mystery.

I wont to know who else has had a falling dream, maybe not like mine, but still some sort of dream you’d classify under such a label.. I really love to read some…thx.
