There are, but the answer to that is always that it can't be a true historical record because it has dragons in it.

And maybe dragons don't die and disentegrate. Perhaps they turn to dust. Or perhaps they were smart enough to hide or even bury their bodies. Just a fantasy side kicking in.

But anyway, it probably has been tested, and we will never know the answer unless it was real, and even that is a maybe.

Perhaps it's Catholic? Just kidding. It's obviously meant to be a reptile, and you should look for the genitals of a reptile, not a mammal. Reptiles lay eggs and they procreate much like birds do. The reason you don't see a dick here is probably just the same reason you can't see Donald Duck's genitals. This could have been a result of early genetic engeneering. I believe the Germans had come much farther with genetic engeneering than we would appreciate to know. I believe the "aliens" which look like some kind of reptile dipod were created by the Americans using knowledge they attained from German SS during the war. I just hope I am wrong.

The editor makes a good point. Why couldn't they just have made an x-ray image of it's interior? As for the extra two limbs (separate wings in addition to arms), I believe that is the best argument against this artifact. I have no recollection of ever seeing a reptile, bird or mammal with separate arms and wings. Creatures of these kinds which have wings, don't have arms, since the arms are infact the wings. But the wings may not be wings in the traditional sense. They may be extrensions of the sholder blades or something. All this we would know if we had an x-ray image of the bugger. Beautiful work it is neverthelsess. Whether God or man has shaped it. A real cutie

I own one of these and from looking at it can tell you that they do appear to be made out of the same materials. I am surprised that some people would actually consider this to be a true dragon specimen. Some people simply want something so bad they are blind to how ridiculous the evidence is.

What known species disintegrates when it dies? None. As I have said many times the evolutionary advantages gifted to the myth of the dragon would place them so high on the food chain that nothing could have ever brought them back down. And if by some miracle they were struck down then we would be seeing several skeletal remains as these creatures would have no doubt dominated the world before hand. Either way I believe that it is nearly impossible that these creatures do or ever did exist outside of our collective imaginations. I am not shutting my eyes to the possibility as anything is possible on this world however I just think that based on evolution it simply does not make sense.

For thousands of years people have unearthed dinosaur bones as they were excavating for buildings and plowing their fields. The power of the human imagination overwhelms reality. As we once made dragons from mere dinosaurs we now make alien overlords from mere extraterrestrials.

Fake, real, what ever it is still cute ....I have to say that it is really detailed if it is fake...the guy took alot of time to get it to look real all that for a gag...

But still...people thought the Platipus was fake...now we know that they are real. So when ever some creature in a jar pops up, or a stuffed one pops up that people have never seen before comes about. They say that it is fake. that is until Nature prooves them wrong.

But in the cace of the Dragon....I would say that they should test it if they didn't alredy. And if they did, would they say so? If they accualy said that a Mythical Creture is real, that would rewrite history. That is if it isn't Fake.

This is quite a coincidence. Falcon brought this topic back up yesterday, and today I came across this article on the fake dragon. The guy that concoted the hoax has gotten a contract to write a book about a, you guessed it, dragon.

In fact the dragon was created by Crawley Creatures, the model makers behind TV's Walking with Dinosaurs, and the jar was made by a specialist glass blowing studio in the Isle of Wight.

umm someone probably already said this look at the lower legs. they look like the lower legs of a bipedal creature not the hind legs of a dragon. it looks pretty cool , but also pretty fake. the feet look like human feet unless my memory has already betrayed me. i would think that a dragon would have claws.


maybe it is an alien dragon or genetically engineered with reptilian dragon dna and human dna.

What about the belly cord, shouldn't it havebeen in an egg? I thought cords where a mammal thing.

I'm still of the belief that there was no such thing as a "dragon", but "dragons" instead. I think that there were some surviving larger dinos, that continued to develop and thrive, but in greatly reduced numbers, well into the middle ages... Largely, they were in more remote areas, but occassionally were seen, hunted, etc. I think there were some with wings, others without. Some with fins, some without, etc. and that this is why we have different descriptions.

Some reasons for few remains...

1. mistaken for other dinos
2. use in occult and other rituals: no doubt that any found remains by medieval (or older) man, resulted in powdering bones, boiling of hide, etc. for use in potions, tonics, elixirs, totems, etc.
3. small numbers (as one mentioned, we really don't even have many dino bones, yet we don't doubt them).

This particular pic however, is of course, an obvious fraud, but that hardly rests the case.....

This has been on TV again, yesterday or the day before.

A guy made it . IT IS A FAKE!!! A guy made it to promote his new novel, and was never expecting there to be so much controversy.

I am not saying that the model is real, but the absence of evidence does not correlate to the evidence of absence.

I want one now me and advisor should get one i wonder where i can get one of these but a diffrent color ill have the media flocking to see it im joking any way i can get one of these?

Thats scientific only possible if they get heated up without starting to burn, over a loooong period of time.
