I love how you generalize by saying "religion" rather than Abrahamic religions.

There are other religions besides Abrahamic religions you know.

It shows error in calculation. It does not discredit God.

You can find extensive discussions of this in the following threads:

Theory: Earth, Moon and other celestial bodies growing?!?

Is Earth Growing (Expanding)? (video)

Planets Grow!

As far as this being the final nail in the coffin of religion.....

Genesis 10:25
“And two sons were born to Eber; the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided.”

How do you like them apples? As to what this means. It could very well be a brief description of the theory mentioned in the video you linked to.

Why do we only have 6 billion people by now?

Didnt we double from 1 billion in about 1500 years?

If the world was 6billion years old, you would have to have probably a wipeout event of the people every 10,000 years.

peace.

Whether god exists or not isn't the case, it's religion I’m going after......the bible and all the other 'Abrahamic' faiths.....say the world is only 6000 years old, I’m proving through hard evidence that they're wrong and so once again destroying religion.

I don't mind if people believe in god, as long as it's not in a religious form.

As Mormon and Jehovah’s witnesses, really irritate me at 8:30 in the morning, knocking at my door.

Would you like some cookies, hell yea, would you like some religion, you can go ...... yourself...

That’s mainly because of wars going on in the last few thousand years, hundred thousand man armies was normal, as well as before 10,000 years ago, we mostly lived in caves……and so our population didn’t progress much during that time, there were no city constructions, so no large groups of people trading with each other, just 4-5 people going out to hunt.

Also, in the last 50 or so years, the population has doubled from 3 billion to 6.

In just 50 years, but that’s only because the standard of living went up exponentially, medicine, antibiotics etc..

I love how you try to make it seem less corrupting against religion by saying only Abrahamic religions get pwnd.

There are plenty others......but I’m focusing on the most influential for obvious reasons.......IGGNORANCE of EDUCATION.

Hehe, you unknowingly hit on a point here.

There is a near-wipeout every 10,000 years or so. Ice ages.. mega-disasters, meteor-strikes, etc. All humans on the face of the Earth, according to Science, are traceable to a single group of Human beings who lived through the last Ice Age.

Also, you must realize, without modern medicine and hospitals, the death rates would be incredible. People would be dying from Flu's much more often and strange spontaneous infections and diseases. Also, less hygiene means more spreading of the virus/bacteria. We are alive today because our ancestors lived thorugh the Black Death, the Bubonic Plague. Our direct blood descendants, those of us who are of European descent, all lived through those Plagues or else we would not exist here today.

If you take into consideration how God broke up the entire planet with a flood and our gravitational has lessened.(magnets lose energy!)
Then some of those speculations sound plausible.

no evidence for this

where the hell does this idea come from? i've been trying to figure this out for a while... but i can't understand why people think there is a link between magnetism and gravitation..
but there isn't. not one bit. if there was, our world of iron would collapse around us, new york would be rubble.

You do not understand.

No scientist believes humans existed all those 6 billion years, we existed for roughly 10,000 years according to current theories.

My religious belief accepts scientific theories, I see them as discovering the Goddess's intricacies and methods of creation, and science as the way of learning more about that.

Edit: Wait...uh, I don't understand the question. I'm not even sure what I replied to.

current theories my ass.......scientists say humans have been around for at least a few million years, not 10,000. the earth is 4.5, billion years old. we came out from caves about 10,000 years ago, and then started building cities then.
