I've got a favorite NEW band, Stone Sour.

My old fav's(the ones I grew up with) were Sabbath, Zepp, Purple, Queen, etc. Rock sucked in the 80's and I got into metal. Maiden, Metallica, Motorhead, Megedeth, etc. Thanks to the web I found a band that mixes both styles of music. Stone Sour(if there are others, please let me know):

Stone sour rules, thr singer from Slipknot has a softer side....who knew

I like Stone Sour as well, however the song "Zzyzx Rd" is one of the worst songs I have ever heard. I like sad songs and everything, but that song has way to much B whining for me.

You took the words out of my mouth. Rock really did suck in the 80s too, lol.My favourite songs at the moment are Skunk Anansie's Weak and TOOL's The Pot. love them. Stone sour is good too but doesn't that Corey guy have an "I love me" expression on his "cool" face. (Bono has that too). Talented though. Even in Slipknot you could tell he had a good voice.
