Phobias a sign of alien abduction. Was I abducted?

One of the signs of being abducted by an aliean is extreme phobias.

Some people think that a phobia is being scared of something but that is not what it is... Having a phobia is being terrorfied of something even thought it isn't a logical scaredness. Well, I have had a phobia of mannequins since I was three or four. The first time i saw one was when I was in a mall and I started running and screaming in the store. From then on I had to close my eyes and have people lead me around in the store when I knew there was a mannequin in it. Since I have been an adult the phobia has subsided some but I still get terrorfied when a mannequin "sneaks" up on me. My heart starts pounding and I can't look at it and i have to get away from it.

I'm also afaid of doctors/needles/blood tests etc. I usually pass out and stuff.

I have never ever considered that I might have been abducted by an alien but when I read those symptoms I started thinking that maybe, just maybe it is possible. let me list all the symptoms that I have.

There are more that I have but the rest don't seem very unusual.

anyway, do you think that i may have been abducted?


ETA: I often have nightmares that I am shopping in stores and there are several mannequins around and I'm scared to death.

Think about this logically......
What are the credentials of the person who came up with this theory?
If I posted on the internet that "mosquitoes only bite people that have been abducted" would you believe it? Probably not.
Many people have phobias, but it doesn't mean you've been abducted.

well, in understand that. I'm a pretty logical person and all but I have just always thought it was weird to have a phobia of mannequins. I have never heard of anyone else that has had this phobia nor have i had anyone that can tell me what it means.

I don't critcize people who believe they have been abducted. There is something to the whole phenomenom. I mean, pople all around the worl have been reporting this and they all get scrutinized and made to feel like they are crazy, when the people are critcizing are the crazy ones. They need to open their eyes to it. So many people wouldn't be saying it if there was no substance to it. Sometimes dreams are reality.

On a personal note:

I have a identicle twin brother. He and i have had some really wierd "dreams" around the same time. I'll start with mine. I have had numerous dreams that i was steping out a large cigar shaped craft that was a dull silver in color. upon steping out of the craft i would look around my surroundings and it was what appeared to be a military base. I would be escorted into a large building by a person in black fatigues. the face would always have a blank stare on it. like a zombie or something. Once we would get near the door i would always wake up.

Now the "dream" my brother had.

i was over at my parents house hanging out with him talking about the usual nonsense, when he stopped in the middle of the convo and told me he had to tell me about a dream he had.

he said, that in the dream he woke to to standing in a large tunnel with a raised grated floor. the walls were smooth liike glass and there was kind of a blushish light lighting up the tunnel but he couldn't tell where it was coming from. He then said he started to walk down the tunnel, he wasn't wearing shoes. He then came up on an entrance and through the doorway he saw what looked like a table in the middle of the room, but the strange thing about it was that the table was hovering. There was also the same blueish light coming form the walls but no light source. He got closer to the room and then woke up.

It kind of scared me a little. the other day he was watching fire in the sky and at one point during the movie he had to turn it off because it scared the hell out of him.

So i believe it's true, poeple have been abducted it's just by who, Government or aliens.

I didn't say i was, i just telling the dreams i and my brother had. I feel for the people who report this type of thing, because the were forcefully taken somewhere without giving consent and have had things done to them.


Hell someone in your life might have had this happen and is just to scared to talk about it.

correlation does not equal causation.

Having a phobia does not mean that being abducted is the source. Just by having the symptoms of being abducted does not automatically mean that you have been abducted. This does not mean that abduction could be the cause, but there is no reason to take some signs and interpret it immediately one way or the other.

I seriously doubt in my case there are aliens that resemble frogs.

You do know that what happens inside of your head (dreams) has nothing to do with reality right?

i had a dream i was abducted by aliens, i'd just read communion by whitley strieber, which is obviously why i had the dream it was so lucid and real it was great, so the next night i read playboy unfortunatley i couldnt remember that one, sometimes the mind can let you down.

I have a fear of clowns with tarantulas in there pants luckily they are rare but watching IT and growing up in a house full of women so when a spider was spotted it was like ted bundy had broke in, i know where this fear originates

If I was alone in the dark with mannequins around I'd probably be a little freaky too, maybe I have a mannequin phobia. But I don't think I was ever abducted. At least not that I remember......

yes. i'm serious about the mannequin phobia. I know it does not make sense and that is why it makes no sense to me. I know logically that there is nothing that they can do to me but i'm still scared of them. I was absolutely terrified of them as a child. as far as being abducted by aliens... i got the link from a different ats thread and it made me think of my phobia.
