Bandwidth issues
Lack of content
Lack of broadcasters

There wouldn't be enough "websites" for it to be worthwhile because each provider needs its own unique content

Why have internet TV when you can just subscribe to extra channels?

In the future I think it will all be the same difference: we'll sit down to one screen for all media content and distance interaction.

The BBC will be streaming all its channels soon with a full seven day backlog of shows, however it may only be available to british broadband ip's.

Maybe its because the BBC's internet budget is 100,000,000 per year and they have to do something with it.

i thought the appeal of internet tv was that you could watch tv as it is in other countries (all their channels), otherwise of course we would just subscribe to other channels.
