I wanted to share with you one of the most strange of all strange things that I have experienced. Here goes:

I was with my uncle when he died. It was a car accident, the van he was driving apparently had hit black ice and had flipped. He was not dead at the scene, I remember waiting with him for the ambulance to arrive. I remember holding his hand. I told him I loved him and I kissed him goodbye. He died in 1972. I was born in 1980. When I was two, while my mother was bathing me she began to tell me about my uncle. As she recalls, this was the very first time she had mentioned him to me. When she began to tell me about him she distinctly remembers me saying to her, "I know mom. I was with Uncle Joe when he died in the ambulance." She was obviously startled and stunned. She called my grandmother (her mother) who was equally startled. I later correctly recalled details about his injuries and the accident itself.

I do not remember the conversation with my mom in the bath; however, I do recall - and quite vividly - being with him when he died. The memory has never changed as memories are want to do.
I thought I would go out on a limb and share this to see if anyone here as experienced something similar. I'd be glad to answer any questions.

Thanks,
W.

That is a very sad, but interesting story. I'm sorry for your loss brother. Its possible these memories were inserted into your head through genetics. Birds know how to build a nest but are not taught.

Tell me, was you uncle alone when the accident occurred? Or was he alone in the van?

I don't know really, I think I was me - if that makes any sense at all. I don't have the sense that this is an example of reincarnation as I do not reacall, nor have I ever, a life connected to this event. I only remember the event itself. A couple of people have posited that perhaps I was his a guide or guardian.

He was alone in the van. I don't remember riding with him, nor do I remember the accident - only being with him as he lay dying.

I really appreciate both of you for your interest.

Cheers,
W
