OhmyGod. Weird Radio Spanish Reptile thing.

Sounds to me like the Radio was interrupted by a frequency that caused it to go staticky. You and the cabbie just convinced yourselves you heard what you had heard.

"Slither" is not a noun, it is a verb. A physical motion, as in "to slide like a snake". How can he speak as though he was sliding like a snake? That is a nonsense sentence.

Did you make note of the stations call letters, location on the dial etc.
Have you looked/listened on your radio at home, to maybe find the unusual signal?

Are there anyother strange occurrences happening to you or your family?

Sometimes other stations "bleed" into the station you are tuned to and sound funny.

Or maybe it was a warning from another space/time continuum and we're all doomed.

Is it possible what you were listening to was an exorcism? - I know most hispanic cultures are superstitious. Just a thought.

There are lots of strange noises a radio can make when it hits interference... especially in the city. I wouldnt worry about it.

I am kinda getting tired of all the reptillian stuff lately.. every time the tv or radio hits interference we have shapeshifting, hissing voices and panicked people rushing to post about it... why does everyone think reptillians (if there is such an alien) would be broadcasting on the media if they were in hiding? Odd.

When I Turn off my speakers and put volume on max I can pick up random radiostation signals.

but, if your story is the thruth, and if that really hapenned, then I have to say that is really unusuall....or is it?

What was the tone of the message you heard...was it angry such now you will see such as now your going to get it!! or now you will see such as it will be revealed to you.?

Hindsight is always 20/20.

But if both you and the cabby acknowledged that you both heard the same thing and we frightened, you shoulda asked him the station the radio was tuned to. So you could do more investigating on the matter.

As far as slithering noises, hissing noises, it's all semantics, we all know what he means. That's gonna get us no where.

To the OP:

On a scale of 1-10 How clear was the message, words ect. Including the hissing.

How about that "Cash Cab" show? Is that wild or what?

It could have been changing frequency too. When my family went to Spain on holiday my radio went all funny. (I know I know, thats a garbage comparrison)

It's extremely common on ATS nowadays to spew a bunch of biblical nonsense on every single thread. In fact, I think I've said this before. Unless if I'm just imagining it.

There's probably a very mundane explanation for this. If it was AM radio, then you've already got your answer: takeover/interference on purpose by pranksters or by accident by another station.

It might have also been one of those religious kooks speaking in "tongues" which is pretty common on evangelical T.V shows or radio broadcasts:

Somewhat on topic, I guess. I pick up interference on both AM and FM stations around town (western NC, not exactly NYC I know) while driving, I assume from satellite radio. I've noticed in certain specific places around the downtown area here, such as, in front of a restaurant which is playing some easy listening crap. Or when I get close to the car in front of me at a light, I'll have their satellite station take over my radio. Maybe something along these lines occurred, although I just heard songs, not "slithery" speach. MMM, never mind I guess! Andy

Look, the way I see it is this.. Things are changing, and things are getting unlocked in some peoples minds.. We are going to be seeing alot more reptiles here in the upcomming months!!! I wanna believe it was something, but to me it just sounds like static.
Kinda like when you drive by a tall metal structure and it distorts the signal for a few seconds.
