Ah I see. Then you wont mind the Iranians flying over to the US and bombing some of your nuclear facilities either then. Or maybe just use a suitcase bomb against them.

Ah, I see. The problem is with your logic. You are putting Iran on the same footing or moral ground as the U.S. Plus Iran is killing allied forces by sending in arms, money and men into Iraq. If Iran cannot stand the heat, they should not have come into the kitchen.
Sorry, but that is a major flaw.

Where are you located? If you are in the U.S. and a U.S. citizen then you are a traitor and a loser. You are so smart by wishing innocent young men and women die because you have a problem with the current administration. Way to go!

First off everyone is entitled to their opinion. That gives you no right to insult anyone. Grow up.

Secondly, we have no business being in Iran and if we attack, I too hope the US military gets it's butt handed to them. This opinion does not make me a traitor. Why do people have to be a traitor if they disagree with anything the US does?

Some of you amaze me to no end. "I want Iran's nuclear facilities bombed now!" Why?? Just because you do not trust their intentions? I do not trust the US's intentions does that give me the right to go out and blow up US Nuclear Facilities? Answer: No. Since when did the opinion of US politicians dictate how the rest of the world can live? The US is not the world's police force. It is time to stop sticking our noses where it truly does not belong.

What moral ground does the US have?? When did we become the "moral police"? We invaded Iraq and lied to the world about why we did it. Please show me the high morality in that??

Plus...can you prove that Iran is killing US troops or providing weapons? I know my government tells me this, but they have lied to me before, why wouldn't they lie now? Just the other day I was watching CNN. It was reported that a cache of weapons was found outside of Baghdad. Inside this cache of weapons was 4 Iranian grenades.... a WHOLE FOUR of them. CNN then went on to use this to show how Iran is supplying weapons. I am sure if you look hard enough you will find Nazi weapons in the US. Lugers, grenades, whatever. Does that mean we supplied the Nazi's? How do we know these weapons were not stolen and planted? How do we know these weapons were not confiscated from Iranian military during the 10+ year long Iran-Iraq war and then were stored?

Want to know the real "major flaw"? The US has supplied money, arms, and men MANY times in conflicts we were not directly involved in... so why is it ok for the US to do it in regions where we do not live, but Iran can't do it in their own back yard when they would clearly have an interest?

Yeah, and I have my opinion that wishing for your own citizens to die in a war is being a traitor. So you need to grow up and pull your head out of the sand.

Secondly, we have no business being in Iran

Sure we do but just not in your opinion.

Again, this is your view and twisted opinion. If it not for the U.S., the world today would either be run my Nazis or the Japs. So yes, of course the U.S. has the moral high ground. How long has the U.S. had its same territory?

Sorry, but anything that contains John Kerry speaking is NOT reality and it discredits the entire clip IMO.

You really love to wallow in ignorance, don't you?

With all the resources here, you insist on doing nothing more than trolling while clinging to a fantasy that is not only completely wrong, but destructive.

Seriously, you don't have a clue about the real history of your own nation, yet you insist on claiming a moral high ground that doesn't even exist.

It's people like you that have allowed the US to be pulled down as a nation and corrupted by base greed. It's people like you that create animosity towards your country.

Until you can deny your own ignorance, you are part of the problem.

I guess so since I replied to YOU!

I'm sure you think everybody that has an opinion opposite from yours is trolling.

Again, this is your misguided wrong opinion.

Wow, I was thinking the same about you. Are you a mind reader also?

Until you can deny your own ignorance, you are part of the problem.

The problem with you is that you are closed minded and believe anyone who does not think according to your beliefs is ignorant. Since you have this outlook about others, you are part of the problem.

The purpose of this thread is not one another. Your opinions of one another are not what we are here to discuss. Using this thread as a platform to bash one another is completely inappropriate.

The title of this thread is:

Russians employed at Iran's Bushehr nuclear reactor suddenly depart in a body, according to local Arab sources

Further discussion of one another, in an insulting manner, will result in further action.

Please, stick to the topic at hand.

If anyone has a problem with a member, submit a complaint and refrain from chastising one another here.

Thank you.

Agreed.
All of us get a little frustrated from time to time.

On Topic:
I found this article from March 22;

Moscow, Russia (AHN) - The Russian government on Tuesday announced the pull out of its nuclear experts, including technicians, engineers and other specialists, at the Iranian nuclear reactor plant in Bushehr. The move is a big boost to the U.N. effort to slap stiffer sanctions against the Islamic Republic over its refusal to halt its uranium enrichment activities.

source
According to that report, this was something that was in the works for awhile. Still, it's not clear as to the real reasons for with withdrawal... it could be an issue with payment, it could be that the contract is complete, or it could be for the safety of the engineers.

Debkafile is usually pretty accurate, but at this point there is only speculation and there has been precious little else reported about this most recent withdrawal of Russians from a nuclear site, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

Thank you chissler for the reminder. Appreciate it.

This topic was never formed on the pretense that it was fact. Get that straight!

I read the story and thought of many conclusions if read:
1.Like many others have stated that the contract is over.
2.That there are not enough centrifuges in place to bring it on line, therefore they had no choice but to leave.
3. Warning of war!

I hope it is not the later. I, like some of you have family that would be in harms way if this came about.

There is another thread that was started recently that could possibly bring the two together. It was started by Hikix.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

This is just another date in a long list of dates that have come and gone on ATS. It's a broken record! Nonetheless, I wish to stress the correlation of dates by our government and this story. they both coincide with Oct 15, 2007. I would find it hard to believe that our government would use the same 911 type tactics to perpetrate another war. If so, are we that ignorant?

What does it take to get this country off their complacent As*!?

It May Be Too Late Folks!

If the information is true it will only escalate the US and allies position on Iran's nuclear position.

Quote from story: "This site is suited five kilometers south of Natanz site, near a small village called Abbas-Abad. The new site is located in the midst of Siah Kooh mountain from Karkas (Vulcher) mountain chains, south of Natanz site."

I'm sure the US and allies will be going overboard to confirm it's existence. If they find it as true, it's gonna be one step closer to war.

Spelling grr

Well, thats the plan. Start talking about it, then repeating the message over and over again until people get used to the idea, then attack them.

The initial ideas for the US to attack Iran seemed silly, then with time they started sounded believable, now they are starting to look like a fact waiting to happen.

So who will help the Iranians against the US and British? This is another cowardly war against an enemy that is clearly outnumbered. I for one hope the US suffers great casualties for this one and comes home with a bloody nose.

Didnt the iranians have 5000 people in the US, ready to strike if US attacks Iran? Well, im starting to be on the Iranian side. This war is wrong. Plain and simple.

[edit on 2-10-2007 by Copernicus]

First, I would like to state I am completely against attacking Iran for multiple reasons.
Second, keep in mind that the Iranian government isn't the good guy and the president is a psycho.
Third, You hope that the US suffers great casualties???? What the hell is wrong with you? There are people stuck on both sides. For the most part US and Iranian soldiers don't want to fight or die, I guarantee that. Remember that although the current US government administration is full of mental dullards, the US military has done alot of good throughout the world which seems quickly forgotten.

Just keep in mind that those casualties that you are so callously hoping for, are people who have families and who are just trying to do a job and HOPING their government doesn't fail them and send them to the wrong place. Instead of hoping for our soldiers to die, why not send your greavences to the US government administration...you know...the people who give the soldiers their orders....

Your blaming the waitress for the crappy food.
