2008 what would we expect

we have seen threads that warn us about the appending doom we all face and there is quite a variety of things that are suppost to occur but what do you expect to happen and to not quite succeed.

I think that there will be more of a shift in thinking towards "green energy". I think more people will realize that global warming is real and begin to think of ways to do something about it.

We should all start investing in solar technology.

its funny but i look into alot of subjects and different material and take it all with a grain of salt, i researched propehts and preachers and its funny how your topic made me think of a video of john hagee and how he was so sincere when saying that 2007 is going to be a tremendous year for the world,

let me see if i can find that video, it just made me think that maybe he is in deeper into something or just a statement im over studying...

1) there will be uncountable doomsday predictions made by ats'ers that will not come to fruition.

2) we will have more kids with a need for attention who think they're better than everyone else revealing themselves to us as indigo children.

3) we will continue to see more visual evidence of ufo's posted to ATS, and the ensuing cgi/reality battle.

There will be a tastes great less filling debate

I think the world finally realizes that Global Warming is a scam. It is not nturally occuring (but instead a cyclical phenomanom) and the Kyoto agreement is the UN's idea of taxing the rich nations and giving to the poorer ones. Oh wait, China and India are not really that poor.

Correction. It's the elites' way of making more money out of a system that doesn't really help the environment. They're just taking advantage of the media scare.

As the only species on this planet with the power to take care of it, we shouldn't be abusing the planet if we can help it. I wish 1 person would stand up and show me the proof. I have taken courses in geology, meteorology, earth science, and archeology. Never once has any of my professors ever been able to give me a fact showing global warming is caused by man. The only they have been able to show...over and over... is that global climate change has occurred on regular intervals for as long as science can go back. Please people...for a board of people who see a conspiracy in just about everything that goes on in the world, why don't you see through this? And I though the people on ATS ere smarter than this!!!!!!!

I think you've pretty much nailed it. Except that it is totally a naturally occuring cycle.
Steve mcintyre has already proven that Hansen at nasa is a liar, manipulator and has an agenda.
He is the one who publicly forced hansen to withdraw the "hottest year on record" (nasa/hansen's data said it was 1998) and correct it to 1934 showing that AGW is a scam, does hold up to scrutiny, or science.
It showed hansen was manipulating his data sets, and for many years.
